This is NCO, They are a debt collection agency who uses collection practices that are against the law.  They leave threatening messages on voice mails along with personal information. This is against the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Report them to your State Attorney General.

Got a call from this "company". It was a girl that was telling me that if i made a 100.00 payment on my school loans, that the rest (35,000.00) would be waived. She stuttered a lot and was VERY persistent. I told her that i was on unemployment and could not afford anything at this time. She kept at it. I told her that i get calls about this loan from at least 6 different companies about this loan and they all say something different about either how much i owe, or what kind of payments i can make and so i wasn't going to start any payments 1) because i couldn't afford it. 2) because i never know who i am talking to. She STILL persisted. I told her that not only was she calling my cell phone, but that i was driving on the highway and was getting distracted and for her to call back at a later time. SHE STILL KEPT GOING. Finally i had to just hang up. 100.00 to pay off a 35,000.oo loan? How stupid do they think i am?

    NCO student loan collection.
Apparently these "classy" well-trained, guard dogs, will bark up the wrong tree.
My uncle has a student loan from 20 years ago.  Im the lucky chap that has the same name as my dead beat uncle.  So "John davis" the collector thinks i'm lieing... He thinks im just denying that Im my uncle.  WE HAVE THE SAME FREAKEN NAME!!! Anyways... These guys will call and call until a person might need therapy.  I CANT SLEEP WITH OUT THEM CALLING.  So i decided to help my uncle take care of this matter for good.  Of course my recommendation and any professional will tell you "Its always best to make payments!" but its always best to know your options before negotiating with these "Classy" Collectors.  Heres a website I found that some "Student Loan collector" Made... He spills the beans....

Hes a collector so i still hate him, but personally I think this is the first time some one actually came out the laid out the rules on the table.  Its a mystery as to why this type of thing isn't more accessible.

Keep calling for the wrong person. They won't update their stuff and have been calling for someone else account. I've had the same number for a few years now. I live in San Diego Cali. the person they are looking for apparently lives in WA state.

I think, I spoke to this guy...Calls and I had to tell him to slow down because I couldn't understand what he was saying.  I told him didn't have a job and was on State assistance and he said so do you mean you have no intenstion of paying then got rude with me and started to treaten me, do these people think they can get away with this when there are laws here.  Not going to loss sleep over it but this company needs to be stopped and I for one will not put up with this type of harresment.
If anyone does file a complant make sure you write down the time and dates of the calls so when you do the company will have to pull the call from there records and proved that they didn't make any threats .
