I cannot not take these calls anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calls on cell phone but does not leave message

I work for the USDA and use a government phone and computer at work. I don't spend much time in my office and my phone has registered 11 missed calls from this number in four days. Today I answered the phone when they called. "Michael" (with an Indian accent) said he was from Windows Service Center and advised me that Microsoft reported many errors on my computer. I've heard about this scam so before he got to the sales pitch (pay a fee and let them "fix" it remotely), I told him that he had reached a US government phone, Microsoft did not have access to my US government computer and I was going to turn his phone number over to the FTC. He said sorry and hung up.

I receive 6-7 calls between 4:30 - 6:00 pm, but I don't answer the them.  No message is left.  I have caller ID, so know it's the same number calling

I doubt these people are not from the US the called over and over when you call back it doesn't go through...Some jerk named Gary finally called and when I told him I tried to call him back and it didn't go through he hung up...

I have received 8 calls from this number yesterday and 4 so far today.  I've been receiving these calls daily 4-5 times a day for a month.  What to do?

I have been receiving these calls from 800-266-2266 for a couple weeks. More annoyingly, they always ring two of my numbers simultaneously! The one time I had a conversation to see what they were scamming for, similar to worker.gov, they said they were from Microsoft, were receiving errors from my computer, which was infected, and wanted me to log on to let them fix the virus causing the supposed errors. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they got very belligerent and I finally just hung up. Since then, I have answered the phone "Fraud Department" a few times, which causes them to immediately hang up (and gives me a small bit of satisfaction), but it hasn't stopped the calls. Any suggestions?

I am sick of the calls from this number... They don't leave a message and I have tried calling the number and it does not go anywhere. Once I answered the call and there was someone on the other end. I told them to stop call ing me. Someone should do something about this. They are obviously scammers!

Receive calls telling mt there is a problem with my computer.  IYjeu have called about 6 times over the last month.  I asked how I can check on them, finally I asked for someone who could speak english more clearly.  I asked where they are located, they said California, I asked three times in what city, finally they said Washington.

This number calls me every night between 9-11pm!!! Please make them stop!!! The first time I answered, they said that they were with Microsoft and my computer was having issues and needed to be fixed!! How do I get on the DO NOT CALL LIST??

go to donotcall.gov and register your number.  It can take up to 30 day after registration to take effect.
