Who is the owner of the phone?

Just got called by this number too. It was for an ambulance ride. I was a little leary. They asked for alot of information.

Is this number legit?

Yep, it's AMR, American Medical Response, billing.  My son took a ride two weeks ago and now they are trying to find him

weird..got a call from this number.  My son got a ride from fainting and they asked for personal information too..I stopped answering questions when they asked for my sons SS#...Med ins info...weird!!  I think this is fraudulant!

Never had an ambulance ride but my husband did and we paid for it immediately.  Odd.

This number is for Bay Area Credit Service. I had a dead-air voicemail message from this number, and that is the company that answered when I called back. It appears they handle debt collection for AMR and AT&T, among others I'm sure.

Collection agency- they don't care that I am not the person they are looking for- just keep saying they'll take my number off and call over and over again-very annoying

my bf took a ride in the ambulance this past Thursday, how much were you charged. They called trying to get personal info on him but wouldnt give me any info

I have been getting getting calls from this #  at work almost every other day and never once pick up to answer their phone call. They obviously  does not want to leave a message.  Tried calling back to see. It is certainly is Bay Area Credit Service.  Never heard of them Not sure how they got my work number which they are not suppose to call and  I will report them to BB and add to do not call list. Isn't illegal for them to call your work anyway?

clearly this isn't working. They call EVERY DAY - can someone make sure this number is reported (not sure where to do this) but they call EVERY DAY and continue calling. They should be stopped, reported and stopped. I have been on the do not call list for a long time.

The call me every day on my cell phone, asking about either my husband or son (they have the same name). It is a collections call, but it has to be spurious, because there is NO possibility that there is any legitimate debt. The person who calls sounds Indian or Pakistani, but has identified himself as 'Thomas Wilson' and 'Max MacKenzie' and, while I guess it's possible that he actually has such a name, it's not likely that he has two!

I am sick of calls from collections or credit card companies when the caller doesn't speak English..Even legitimate calls when I'm trying to make a payment.I will report these calls to the FTC whether legitimate or not.Do these companies  get by cheaper by hiring Indians,Pakistanis,or others from countries other than the US??

It's debt collection company calling from India.  They seem to be working with AT&T. They put you on auto dialer and keep calling. On the other line are Indians with cheap equipment and thick accents. I wouldn't give them any info.

We get daily calls from this number. They are quite obviously from India. We have sellected auto reject when it comes. They claim to be debt collectors for att. We checked with att. We do not owe them anything. Its some kind of scam.

They called me 3 times in the past few days asking for cole and saying it was my name and saying it was about personal info and i asked if it was important why didnt they left a message the guy who sounded like he barley spoke a lick of einglish started to studder and ramble on. i keped trying to get more info on what he was calling about and what business he was from he just kept saying it was personal buisness and he never said.i told him it was a fedral affence to pretend to be some buisness and call me and he got scared and hung up on me i was just saying stuff to say stuff and obviously its a fake number.
