Try calling it back and find out what it's about... I don't understand why people are so afraid to return a phone call. Like the person on the other end is going to come through the phone and bite you or something. LOL!

Its A Past due Balance from Cablevision. Sun Somthing is the name i just erased it.. Yeah just pay ur balance and they wont cALL anymore. It happen to me

Called our office 4 times today trying to talk to one of our clients.  We're their account manager but they refused to talk to us.  Setup my VOIP system to forward the call to the local police department next time and every time they call from that number moving forward.  lol.

Obviously its  a Debt because I googled it but why do they act like because they use a first name we are to assume its a friend? No one has a friend that calls from an 800 number. I would actually have more respect if the told me why they were calling on my voicemail.

They called me like 5 times today all from a "unavailable" number. I finally picked up and they wouldnt tell me what company they were calling from.My guess is its cablevision because I do owe a balance.

DO NOT TRUST THE PEOPLE THAT ARE CALLING YOU FOR DEBT COLLECTING.ALWAYS GET A NAME AND A CONTACT # BEFORE YOU PAY AND IF POSSIBLE DO NOT PAY OVER THE PHONE!!!! EVER.I was scammed last year and paid a bill i thought,until a week or 2 later the real company asked me to pay a similar amount. People can get 1800 number easy and act like your cable company.all they have to do is ask YOU where you live and your zip then get your banking info.....I dont answer the phone anymore and if I have to pay someone its by check via snail mail and if they need it fast by wire thats it.always ask THEM for information first and last name, where is the office at,what are the last digits of your account #. dont be fooled like ME!

THEY LEFT ME A NUMBER TO CALL BACK THE GIRL SPOKE SO FAST AND SOUNDED LIKE SHE HAD MARBLES IN HER MOUTH.. I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK AND THEY PUT ME ON HOLD..FOR A LONG TIME , I CALLED BACK AND ASKED WHAT COMPANY IS THIS AND THEY PUT ME RIGHT ON HOLD WITHOUT ANSWERING ME!! I DID THIS 5 TIMES AND ALL 5 TIMES THEY DID IT.... IM GOING TO LOOK INTO THIS COMPANY B/C THIS IS SO SHADY I CANT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW THEY GET AWAY WITH IT!! ANY NEW POSTS PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!

Got a call from ID 12223333, which is invalid but they left this msg for a person that not me and to call back 800-269-9488.  I called to see what it is about, The guy won't tell me why because I am not the person they called for and hung up on me lol.  But sounds like a collections place, there were a lot of noise in the background and I heard people talking about payments and payment plans etc.

yeah! thats it cablevision. i was trying to figure out why these mystery people were repeatedley calling

Nobodys afraid, just no one wants to answer a scam caller or doesn't want to pay a huge debt that might or might not even be theres. lol .. i guess theyre more afraid theyre reach over the phone and grab into their wallet..
