Since I have caller ID I always know who's calling.  I never answer such calls.  I either let it ring or cut off the call in mid ring.  They are NOT debt collectors.  They are con artists, ripoff artists, thieves!

800-273-6816 has been leaving messages on my answering machine for about 2 months.  After doing my research online, finding out that NCO is a fraudulent collection company and that they had a suit filed against them for which they settled in the millions of dollars, I do not return their calls.  I have no outstanding debt and have always paid my bills on time.

1-800-273-6815 Toll Free Service on my caller ID. When I answered a woman asked for my deceased spouse (mispronounced his name) and I told her he has been deceased for over 2 1/2 years now. She said she was sorry to hear that and hung up as I did not encourage any further conversation.

the number for NCO is (800) 550-9619 this one they actually answer but when you tell them you would like them to stop calling you they put you on hold for ever.  I left the phone off the hook for 12 hours and was on hold the whole time.  crooks, criminals,

Mu caller id showed 800-273-6816.(I looked this number up on google and found that it belongs to a bill collector NCO). I do not have an answering machine and they let the phone ring a good thirty (30) times before hanging up.  I do not know why they are calling me as I have excellant credit.  Before my answering machine broke, they would call at least 3 times a day. Most times the phone numbers changed (unavailable, and other 800/866 numbers).  I am writing this today because of how many times they let the phone ring. I quit answering 800/866 numbers because of the solicitation. In addition I am on the DNC list.

The DNC list applies only to telemarketers.

Got a call from this number today. It was the automated call that many others have reported from NCO Financial. They are junk debt buyers/collectors. The debt they are trying to collect on me is past the statute of limitations in the state of Missouri. Therefor its illegal for them to try and collect it. They continue to do so I will sue them in court for violation of the FDCPA.

Have called me for over two years.  Asked to have information sent to me to give to my accountant and receive nothing.  Time passes and they start calling again.  Have read this number is a fraud company and would like information to sue them for harrassment to have calls stopped.  Would like the news to do a report on them.
