they keep calling, some times twice a day.  We do not answer the phone but the recorded voice leaves a message saying "this is Canadian Bonded calling regarding an important matter......."

This has been going on for about a year now.

They call me every single day .. sometimes twice.. just a recording ... no idea what it's about ... how do I stop these calls, short of changing my number, I mean  ??!!

I,ve been getting this call at least three to four times a day and night... recorded message.. this is icor canada.. it is important you call concerning an urgent matter.. if it is so damn urgent why doesn't a real person call????? Just leave me alone

They've called twice already. It's only been one day, both calls leaving an automated message about an "important message". They tell us it's "ICOR Canada".

I tried calling back. Put on "hold" until I decided to give up.

I too have been receiving this call, stating that this is ICOR Canada and I must call a number of about an urgent matter. If it is so urgent, why does a real person not make the call? Furthermore I have an unlisted number and have not given it to any institutions. I live in Nunavut.

Me too.  We just got a new number after moving to a place, and at least 5 times we have received this urgent message and that it is important that we call this number.  I called once and held on the line for 5 minutes and then decided that I have better things to do.  I think the person who had our number before us, was negligent with their bills.  I do not know how to get rid of this annoying thing, aside from changing my phone number.  I don't want to do that!

The caller states that they are ICOR Canada and need to discuss an urgent matter.  I just ignore them.

Does anyone know the purpose of these calls. My mother also got that call. Is anyone getting charged for these phone calls while they are hold???

I get calls a couple of times a day from this number - 1-866-294-1752 - and they leave a message as above from ICOR Canada telling me to call back. I delete the message and never answer a 1-800 or 1-866 number. Having Caller ID sure helps but it's still a nuisance.

Just got my first call from them moments ago. Same story... looks like I'm in for a long run of this? What does this mean? What is ICOR?

I've been getting these calls for about 2 weeks now, and once I called back and got a really snotty women who to me did not sound like a csr and she told me I owed money on a cell from from bell and if I could send out the money to clear it. the phone they said was from 2006 and every time i hav applied for a loan no record of this has every came up, does anybody know who these people are.

I actually talked to a real person today asking to speak to my wife. When I asked who ICOR was, he wouldn't tell me, said it was a confidential call for her and hung up. Is there a way to stop this? They call every day.

just got the same call this is icor canada it is important yyou call back. i would like to know how they got an unlisted phone number.

I got the same call from 800-281-9643.  I've also had calls on my caller id from other numbers similar.  The message they left on my answering machine was "This is Icor Canada.  It is important you call back".  Who are they? Does anyone know?  Why can't they tell us who they are and what they want, if they are legitimate?

I to get calls from this 1-866-294-1752 with the same message this is Icor Canada it is very important that you call us back.  I just blocked their number on my phone and I do this for all 866 and 800 numbers.  They will probably call me from a different number and I will just keep blocking them until they either run out of 866 and 800 numbers and a real person calls me with a real phone number.

They have been calling me for 3 weeks!  I am on hold with them as i type this.  It's been 21 minutes and nobody has picked up yet!  Can this # be blocked!

We have also been receiving calls from ICOR Canada.  We have been getting them for 2 or 3 months now.  Tonight I phoned back and left it on speaker phone while I was holding, and was on hold for 1 hour, the call then disconnected.  When I immediately called back, I got a pre-recorded message saying that the office was now closed and to call back during regular office hours!!  We have spoken with a real person on more than one occasion and have determined that they are not even calling for anyone in our household.  We have told them more than once not to call back, but apparently that doesn't make any difference to them.  Tomorrow I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau and see if this is a legitimate business and how to get these calls stopped.

I just received my first two calls.......same urgent message.....guess I'm in for a long haul.....argh
