I have a received a phone call from this number everyday for the last week. They have been asking for someone else. I keep telling them they have the wrong number.

This belongs to Wachovia Dealer Services.  They are an auto-loan company.

I have been getting this number calling me as well- id says "westcorp inc.". I have been avoiding answering it, since i didn't recognize the name, or if i do pick up, i'll say " sorry, he's not in right now."
i see here it is a wachovia dealer services number and that makes sense, since i just bought a car from a dealer and the finance co. was "wachovia dealer financial services". I guess i'll answer next time since it seems to be legit for me. Thanks for your posts - it helps me out a lot !!!

I just received a call from them. I did just refinance our car through them, and everything was legit, however the first thing they asked me was for my social security number. I can tell it was them based on the information they gave me, but I refused to give them my personal information since it was an incoming call. She then replied, "Well, I can't give you any account information since you won't verify yourself". My reply was, "Well, I didn't call you, so I'm not requesting information!"
Ridiculous.

omg they been calling u the last every week from now well they beem calling us like every friday cant you tell im really,really,really, confusiton about im only 12 years old help i have a family though

these [***] call me telling me that wendy dejo had me as a reference me and my husband ask me to for my info and account with i have no account with then , i have bank account with wachovia but not then , i have no idea who WENDY DEJO is. this is a scan..

These people call for Ashley or Richard.  Hang up on me when I try to explain there is no one of that name at this number.  Call back in two seconds and hang up when I try to continue explaination.  I have had this phone# 20 years and there has never been an Ashley or Richard connected to it.  I told them to Google the number and they would find out I was telling the truth, but all they do is hang up and call back. Leave the message for Richard or Ashley to call Mr. Whoever.  Calls stopped for about a month and have started up again today with a vengeance.

Received two calls from this number, two days in a row. This number has only been active for 2 days and hasn't been given out to anybody as of yet. Didn't answer either call.

They just called.

What's funny is that yes, I did just buy a car.....however, the loan is exclusively thru my credit union. Probably a scam....don't fall for it.

I did recently buy a car- but it was not financed through Wachovia- they have no reason to be calling me.  They've called me twice now within the past week.  I'm not going to answer.

they just called me and left a message. a woman asking for gloria, saying rodrigo gave her the number. no clue who those people are. everyone's saying its wachovia..probably is, but i dont have any business with wachovia either.

Wachovia is now Wells Fargo as of a few months ago. Maybe that is why they are using that name to try to scam us.  I have a car loan through them and have for years now. I have received two calls in the last two days but havent answered them and I definitely wont now.

They are WELLS FARGO financial trying to get your car payment. BEFORE they where WACHOVIA financial

I don't even HAVE a car payment. Don't give them info!!!

I received a phone call asking for a name and last name that is not my. besides i have had this number for like 10 years now. I do not want anyone calling or using my number.

This number has called me three times in the last 3 hours. I am not answering and won't now thanks to these responses. Thanks.

The number belongs to Wells Fargo Dealer Services.  I just purchased a new car and did my financing through them.  This is legit.

It is Wells Fargo Dealer Services. I re-financed my auto loan and the call was to verify my address and phone number. I checked the number against their website and called them myself.  Once I verified the information, the calls stopped.
