Calls and asks for the wife when I say she isn't in they say thanks and hang up.

I was VERY RUDE letting them know they had called after 9 PM

I receive a call from them just about everyday, sometimes several times per day. They have even called at 5am in the morning on a Sunday.  If this was a legitimate company collecting funds for the Police Benevolent Association they wouldn't be calling at ungodly hours all day and wk long.  Turn them in to your attorney generals office and let them handle it.  Thats what I am going to do. I too am on the do not call list.  When they called a month ago I told them I had no extra funds available to make a donation. When I told them not to call after answering today, they got real snotty and hung up on me.

Has called roughly 25 times in one week. Told them once had no extra money for them but I guess they dont get the point. Wont Leave Messages

These FOOLS call after 9PM, waking up my sleeping child on School nights!!
They obviously have found a way to violate the DO NOT CALL list and need to be stopped ASAP! What they are perpetrating is utterly RIDICULOUS!!!!

They called, I answered and the rest is how you say, HISTORY!!!  mmmmm good

Xentel is officially a FOR PROFIT organization.  Xentel's 800 # brigade has called me 10 times in the last month (including Sunday and after 9 p.m.).  They usually aren't even there if I pick up.  They've tried to convince me that I've pledged money to a local police-affiliated group.  Wrong!  Xentel has been sued by several states for fraudulent charity fundraising (misleading the people they call & not filing forms w/ the state on time or correctly).  Search for Xentel & Iowa or Colorado for more details.  And to top it off, they keep 75% - 90% of all monies they collect!!!!  Yowzers!  Don't donate through this company; you're giving THEM a donation, NOT your local charity.

Calls numerous times per day, every day for the last several months. Thankfully has not called during sleep. I've never answered. Just see the number on my CID. Annoying SOBs.

They call every single day, both day and night, we don't answer and they have been calling every day for over a month....  Most annoying.  My husband finally answered out of curiosity and they asked for the Mrs and would not leave a message....  Maybe I'll answer and blow a wistle in the phone!!!

A virtual carbon copy of BarbW--relentless calling, never leave a message, and when I answered, asked for Mrs (badly mispronounced). When I said that person didn't live there and asked who was calling, she became very rude and hung up.

Calls nearly every day

they keep calling my house and ask for my husband. I told them twice that my
Norman won't be around until Jan. 27th 2009 I ask who was calling and the name of the company they replied " This call is for Norman and i have to talk to him. Now i see the number above i do not answer the call. On Dec 23 2008 they call 3 times.  It reads on Caller ID   NOT PROVIDED.
how can you stop them from calling?

I did tell them that i was on the DO NOT CALL LIST and they reply that it does not applied to them. so that does not help.

Call 1-800-254-4171 and tell them what you think. I plan on calling everyday until they stop calling me (nobody is ever on the line). I live in D.C and know plenty of lawyers that work on class action suits against such as this. The best thing to do is go public in either a newpaper or a local states attorneys office.
