800-310-9804 calls and never leaves a message.  I am on DNC List but it does no good.  I called the number back and got Readers Digest Telemarketing.  Had them take our name from their call list.  Hope this works, getting PO'd with all the callings that we get all day long.

calls and doesn't say anything daily. I called back and went through the rigamarole of voice prompts.  Had them take our number off their list.

I just got off the phone after calling this number back.  It IS Reader's Digest looking to sell me another subscription (mine has lapsed).  I told them to take me off of the calling list (the rep. had a heavy accent, but was very polite).  He said he would but that it would take 2-3MONTHS for the calls to stop completely.  I was getting a little agitated b/c I had told them in July to stop calling me and was assured the calls would stop.  He did manage to sell me another year of RD for 10 bucks which, in this economy, I cannot complain about at all!  

Suffer through the phone prompts no more--I get saying gibberish when the phone prompt "man" asked me a question and after about 3 gibberish responses it transferred me to customer service.

Keep getting a call from this number and they don't say anything and nothing on the phone. It is most aggrevating.  We are also on the DNC list and yet continue to get calls from this number and others like it. They need to stop.

Do not call lists must not apply to Readers Digest as they call constantly to see if you are home and then try to sell you a subscription.

DNC list does not apply to organizations that you have had a business relationship with e.g. subscription, previous donation, membership.

call every day

I got a call at 11:30 AM. Caller Id said "800 Service".  I never answer those calls.  It went to my message area and I only got a dial tone.

These folks are very rude.  When I answer the voice on the other end always asks for my husband, I reply he's not at home, may I take a message.....and they hang up.  Now I know what to tell 'um tomorrow when they call.  Turn around is fair play, right?

They called a couple of times this week.  Rings three times, never goes to voice mail.  If it's Reader's Digest that makes sense, they have been trying by mail to get me to renew for months.

yet another 800 call from an unknown/unnamed/unsolicited source. tell me again why i  bother with the DNC registry
