I keep getting calls for another person.  I tell each person who calls that they have the wrong number, but that seems to be futile.  The number is usually blocked, but tonight it showed up with an 800-number.  I had a visitor and she answered the phone unaware of this issue, but kept telling the person he had the wrong number.  He claimed that he got the number for the person from a list and kept asking to speak to this person.  He eventually hung up.  I've had calls for others of the same surname, but the person asked for tonight is more commonly requested.  I had my phone number for years before this began, so I doubt the number ever belonged to the family in question.  I always ask the person to stop calling me.  It seems to work for a while, then calls start again and at all hours.  I checked my phone book for anyone by that name.  Unless I'm not spelling it correctly, there is no one by that name in my area or their number is unlisted.  I'm feeling harrassed over something I can't seem to do anything about.  My phone number is on a do not call list, but that doesn't seem to improve the situation.
