Called but no one said anything and disconnected

Called four times and no  one say anything call them back is some kind of answer machine.

This number has called me about 10 times and just hangs up on me

got about ten calls, I won't answer. they leave no message

called twice today.  Didn't answer as I don't recognize the number...

Some political thing. A guy named Richard woke me up to tell me about some bill in Colorado that would impact new homeowners and that a Democrat named Matt Jones, who represents my area, supports this bill (or maybe he doesn't support it). Richard wanted to know if he could connect me directly to Jones' office in the legislature right then and there so I could tell him what a great job he's doing by supporting, or not supporting, whatever this bill is. I declined Richard's kind offer and told him I was going back to sleep. Now that I'm wide awake, I wish I had told Richard to connect me so I could yell at Jones for having anything to do with people who disturb me with unwanted calls when I'm on the Do Not Call List.

Caller, but hung up on me.  Calling back, "You have reached the message center. If you received a call from us, please hang up, we will call again."

I think we should just block this number.

Received call at 8:00 PM, did not answer. Message on recorder "just checking if this number is a working number, thank you for your time".

Said this is a "national research firm confirming this is a working number"

Said, "This is a marketing research firm calling to make sure this is a valid telephone number. Thank you."
Sounds bogus.

They called and asked for my son. I asked who it was and they said they needed to speak to him directly. When I told them I was his mother and was not going to let them speak to him without saying who they were, they hung up.
