- MikeI have been getting calls from this number for a very long time. When I do answer it no one is ever on the other end. It's time for me to raise heck with the "Do Not Call" program which I just re-registered with last week, after having it for the last 5 years.
- Caller: TOLL FREE CALL
- LorraineEveryday 2 or 3 calls, nobody on???

- SteveI called the number back and got a recorded message that the call was from a charitable organization which is exempt from the do not call restrictions. The recording asked me to leave my number and they would call me back. Yeah right. I would be that foolish.
- BarbThis number has been on my caller ID every single day for the past few weeks. They just called today (Saturday). I don't answer, but this time I called the number back. It was a recording about the charitable organization which is exempt.... like everyone else mentioned. Then I hit ZERO and it said it would transfer me to the next available operator.
This went into a few minutes of nothing, then a recording came on saying "This is Debra Balian" (not sure of the spelling of course). She said to please leave your name, number and a brief message and she would get back with me. Well of course I DID NOT, but I just yelled "Quit calling me". Not that she will know who ME is. But it felt good to yell back. LOL - 4speedI had a little fun with this one! I called the # back and if you wait silently when you are supposed to leave a message, it will ask you to enter your parties extension. I pressed 0 and a lady answered. I Didn't say anything and she got really annoyed :) . I plan to do this regularly. Please feel free to join me.
- pageisbusyI'm with 4-speed and the other person who called back .... use 660 and you get a nice lady sho says hello several times before she herself is annyoed and hangs up -- the name was the dbra bellen that was mentioned here

- twosteprI called the number back, dialed the extension "0". When this woman's voice mail answered, I turned the volume up on my radio as full as it would go. Maybe this will stop. Next time I'll call it during business hours. If they're exempt from the "do not call list", I am allowed to leave any message I feel appropriate.
- Caller: Direct Tel
- bigguy 53called once a day for the pass month and sometime two to three times a day jst like others no one there
- Caller: direct tell chairtable donations
- DUHCall 5-7 times a day - leave no message - hangs up on answer machine. First of all who would donate to a charity that beats its targets - sounds fishy to me.
However, by calling them back at their 800 number - they pay the freight so to speak. That "4-speed" strategy of not saying anything and staying on the line only does one thing - runs up their phone bill. Go Fur It.- Caller: Direct Tel
- Ives2 or 3 calls a day, no message left???
- HonkedOffGot a call from real person at this number asking for donations to help the VFW. Need to find them shelter, food, work, yadda yadda. Of course we do, but when I told them I donate to local vetern's programs only - they get ticked at me. Whatsup with that! I hung up in the middle of their next "guilt trip/sales pitch". I know charities are hurting now more than ever, BUT they should realize that they will lose their existing donors if they keep harassing them. I have told all my current charities if they continue to spend my donations on unwanted mail and calls, I will drop them. Most are getting the message one way or the other.
- fadGetting monthly calls - VFW - Donations needed
- Caller: VFW
- LindaJust received this call as I was spreading by beloved Freddie's ashes in the yard. She said she was from an association that adopts pets and I burst into tears and told her I had to go. Hope this will make her feel bad enoungh to stop calling and scamming people.
- Limo PeteWe are paying more for caller ID from AT&T!
AT&T should be rebating their customers for calls that they do not whom they are, not just an 800 toll free! - michigan fed upgot call from this number left no voice mail followed imediatly by a call from another number 800-955-7070 which left no message as well. Called both back it was the same woman on both numbers! A miss debra bollen (sp) anyway the first time it was saying it was capital one when i called it back. Something about renewing my capital one card which i don't have. The second time was for global charities group that i supposedly signed up for which i did not. I also have do not call register wondering if there is a link between the two?
