Keep receiving voicemail messages for my cousin. She does not stay with me, nor use my cell phone. Messages are from 800-335-0872 ext. 5829 Ed Brant.

I received a message for an ex-roommate.  The woman (with a very pronounced accent) stated the message was urgent and a decision would be made today, so please call her back at 800-335-0872 ext. 4301 and reference the document number (that she left on the message).  I called her back and asked the name and business of the company.  She stated it was Amaris (not sure of the spelling) Associates, a financial company.

i get calls from a lady named mellisa hall i am sure that the real name and she calls me 3 to 4 times a day asking to pay my bill,i have already inform them that i have filed 4 bankruptcy chapter 7 idiot lady

Call from 800-335-0872.  Here is the Company that is calling everybody. This is a scam company who tries to get information out of you. Report it to the BBB and do not ever call back this number.

I am glad that I check numbers like this out before I return the call.  This is a collections company that does not even have its facts straight.  Armed with the info from this site and from a couple of others, I called the person back only to find that I was supposed to have a $5,000 plus debt that I know nothing about.  It was definitely a ploy to get information.  When I refused to give it, the person got indignant.  The script they read from was exactly the same as Christine's only it was a man with a very pronounced accent "This is an urgent message and a decision would be made today, so please call hime back at 800-335-0872" then give a reference number.  I asked for a supervisor and was told that "a supervisor will not come to the phone."  I

I recieved call from this number not knowing what it was called it back and it just rang. After reading everyones comments I am glad I did not get a hold of anyone. Does anyone know how to get them to quit calling?

Like above. URGENT and CONCERNED call from Steve @*%#)# (Howe maybe?). My information has come across his desk and he'll have to make a decision! He's willing to help me PLEASE CALL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AT...! Then a completely different and accented voice gives this number. The message, which is badly distorted (too close to the microphone?) repeats on my answering machine about 4 times. This message is so badly done (recorded as well as designed) that I'm not about to call this joker. I'll file a complaint with the FCC and/or the FTC, but this thing drips of unscrupulous abuse.

They also use these numbers to call you from:  877-553-3114 or 212-299-3722 or 878-274-9847 or 800-749-6434.  A male voice who calls himself Hellen Keller has left messages on my answering machine looking for someone who is not here.  

I no longer answer these calls or send their mail back to them.  They are rude and will not shut their mouths long enough for me to tell them anything.

I received a call for my son.  The woman (with a very pronounced accent) stated that they needed to talk to my son about a bill he owes. First of all my son does not have any bills. Then tells me not to waste their time. First of all they are the ones that called my place. I called her back and they hung up on me. The name and business of the company.  She stated it was Capital One credit card.

important decision on my behalf and then changes his
voice dramatically and says call 1-800-335-0872 and then
I call back I let this guy have it , and he wouldn't identify
himself at all.  Who do I report this do, he is scaring me
and threatening me.

I got a call for someone named Eric. I just told "sam" that Eric would be away until November and that I wouldf get a message to him. The number he was calling from was 1-800-749-6434 Ext 4577. His name was "sam"...I dont know Eric nor do I care who he is. But I did have fun telling "sam" Eric was out of the country until November. When they call back in November, Eric has decided to have moved to Dubai..lucky Eric!!

It's a company named Protocol. Says they are a financial business, but I think they mean collection agency. I'm a licensed PI and am licensed with my local police department and when I told them that, in his broken accent, just said he would remove the number from his system.  My number is a business number and they have no business calling this number for any relatives of mine.
