I was called by Acufile. Dont know them, and they claimed there was some "complaint" against me and needed to serve documents. Looking up information I found that this is likely a scam. The call was from 813-321-5654. I was directed to call them back at 800-340-5219. I wont call them of course. Why do people do this. It is gross.

This is the number referred to in the following call from 8133125654: Hello, this is "Amy O'Neil" with the private servicing division of Accufile. I am calling in regards to a formal complaint that requires your immediate attention. I have documents that are scheduled to be delivered to your residence or place of employment. We will only make two attempts to deliver these documents. Please have valid identification to ensure the proper delivery of the documentation. If you or your attorney have any questions regarding this matter, you can contact our client directly at 800-340-5219. that they would make two attempts to deliver at home or work.

Got the same exact message as Frank and on the same day.  I won't call them back.  Would like to know more about what this is all about.

I too have been receiving calls from "Amy O'Neil" !! I just called the number she gave, from another number than my cell, and told them to take me off their call list. That I didn't owe anyone anything. The [***] hung up on me. This company or these people need to be hunted down and stopped from calling and harassing people.  Some of us have enough stress in our lives that we do not need this crap.

I called this number, that Amy O'neil gave me about legal documents, I told the person who answered that I wanted my number taken off their call list and the calls to be stopped that this was harassment. She said something about using family and friends of some person I don't even know, to collect their debt. I told her I didn't even know that person. Then she hung up on me. This company needs to be found and stopped. Our everyday lives are stressful enough without being bogusly called and harassed.

They called me too I just got the phone and haven't gave the number out so I don't know if it was for me or not but I read about this being a scam so the next time I will tell the crazy lady I am attorney so what would you like and and tell her this call is being recorded I can't believe how some people live their life's makes me sick "Amy Oneil You Need to get off your Lazy [***] and Get a Real Job!!!!
