Report a phone call from 800-349-1923 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- ncmamaI received a bill from "Sprint" for long distance charges. I do not have LD on our phone only local as we use cell phone for ld. I called the number 3 times with automatic answering never identifying it was Sprint and to leave a message. I called our provider Embarq, representative said to call Sprint. He gave me a Sprint customer relations number. I called that number and was told to call the number on the bottom of the bill! So full circle! ICC here I come!
- SteveThis is a SCAM!!! I'm a Comcast customer in Jacksonville, FL and Sprint does not know who this is when I called them. We got a long distance bill for $8.70 from company claiming to be sprint "Sprint". Call Sprint immediately and file a complaint. If you are in the Jacksonville, FL area file a Police report ASAP like we did. When we called this number the people were very rude and said "You don't own anything" and hung up. THIS IS A SCAM!!! More to come in the next few days!!!
- STUPID NOTGot a bill from them today.. I also do not have LD.. thought from the minute I got this that it is a scam. How dare they and then threaten with a collection agency if I don't pay? how cute is that...Besides Sprint is now EMBARQ.. anybody else is getting those bills... and why would I call the court at 11:47 PM... how rediculous is that.....
- AlanWe received a LD bill for $279 against a phone number we have not had for years and years. This number shows on page 2 of the bill, but I refused to leave our contact info on their answering machine (for fear of harassing calls). Called Sprint LD customer Service and they said they had no such account# or invoice# in their system. So today I filed complaints with both the USPS Investigative Division and our State Atty General's Office Fraud Division.
Wish Jacksonville PD would do something about the scam. - RandallAlso need to report to the Federal Trade Commission, www.ftc.gov
They track issues like that and attack accordingly. - JanessaThey're still at it. I work part time in a doctor's office and he was prepared to pay a bill from ATT Internet Services. It looked "fishy" to me, particularly in light of the fact that I switched all phone and internet services from AT&T to Comcast so I told him to hold off on paying it until I researched it. Unfortunately, it did not surprise me when I googled the 800# they provided and found all kinds of fraudulent claims listed on the internet. I hope they don't hold their breath because this is one "sucker" they can't take advantage of any more!

- BarbaraI got a bill for the a phone number that is not mine from the guys in Jacksonville Florida using the same 800-349-1923 phone numberand address as P.O. Box 600670 in Jacksonville FL 32260-0670. The bill was for something (not clear) in October and I got it in January. I only have one carrier and a pay as you go cell so I knew it had to be a scam. I have reported it to the FCC and the FTC and I just wanted you to know that they have moved into the mail also so be aware.
- tim nGot a bill from "Sprint" today for a 6 minute call we supposedly made to Mexico for $18.68. *00 number on the bottom of the bill is the same that everyone else here has received. I quick call to the 800 number nets a "all to typical" generic greeting.
I'll call back tomorrow just to have some fun with them.- Caller: supposedly Sprint

- kayReceived a bill to our business from "Sprint" PO Box 600607, Jacksonville FL 32260-0607 dated 2/26/10 for a call supposedly made 12/29/09. to a local Home Depot. We do not have our phone service, local or long distance, with Sprint. I called the 800 number and left a message. Have not heard back from them so I googled the 800 Number and to my surprise found all these messages. I believe I will tag it & see what happens for now.
- Caller: Sprint ??
- aluke3Same here just got a bill this weekend and do not have LD service either. The main thing that tipped me off that it was a scam is that the bill came in my mothers name who passed away over 10 years ago. I have never had sprint only Verizon so I went on the internet today and found these posts.
- Caller: Sprint - bill scam
- cathy429This is a scam !! Received a bill in Jan. 2011 for a call made 12-24-10. I do not have SPRINT or any long distance carrier. We use a prepaid phone card. In doing extensive investigative work, I found there are 3 companies using this same PO box in Jacksonville, FL. In talking with legitimate SPRINT supervisor I was told the invoice # referred to on the scam is not within their numbering system, and they did not have me in their phone system at all as a customer and to not pay this bill. Any legit.bill from SPRINT would have the 'gold feather logo" on it - not a black logo.
I am waiting on paperwork to complete for FL Atty. Gen. office, have reported this to local police and filed mail fraud chgs. Also notified (in writing) 3 credit reporting agencies of this scam.
Today (3-14-11) I got a phone call from a "Unknown Caller" on phone ID. Very rude woman wanted me to verify my name and phone number (did not comply) and she demanded that I pay this bill immediately. When I told her I know this is a scam and that it has been reported - she threatened to turn this over to collection agency and ruin my credit. When I asked to talk to a supervisor - was told there wasn't one available to talk to me. Told her I would wait...finally someone came on the phone and refusd to speak to me unless I verified my name and phone number. When I refused, she hung up on me. Local phone carrier does not assign SPRINT to cover any long distance calls at any time. THIS IS A SCAM !! Do what you need to do legally to protect yourself and document all information.- Caller: SPRINT ????

- mariaI received a bill from Sprint with address PO Box 600607 Jacksonville, FL 32260-0607. I investigated before paying. The bill was for 9 minutes to Mexico (the phone number was incomplete) and it totaled $57.07. It seemed strange that I would receive a bill from Sprint if my home/cellular providers are other companies. Also, the bill said to pay upon receipt. So I dialed the 18003491923 and an automated machine came up saying "Thank you for contacting the billing inquiry dept... Our office is currently closed our hours are from .....Please leave your name, number, and your invoice information so we can contact you". So I called Sprint and asked them about the bill. They explained that it is impossible to receive a Sprint bill if you are not a Sprint customer. So the bill was definitely a scam.
- Caller: SPRINT- BILL SCAM

- AndyThis is a scam. I'm not a Sprint customer. I called Sprint and--after the Customer "Care" person had the nerve to ask me for my SSN and I demanded to speak with a supervisor--was told this number is not Sprint's and to disregard the bill.
DO NOT PAY any invoice from this group. They are crooks.
Thanks to all of you for posting about this. If you receive one of these invoices, report it to the USPS at https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx - bdrumsI can't believe this is still going on, afte reading the first post here, from Sept, 2008. 3 years later, we received this same fake Sprint letter with a bill for $5.81 for a call we supposedly made to another documented telemarketing scammer! I know now not to bother calling the phony Sprint number (again) to try to resolve the bill. But it's unbelievably pathetic that this scam's been going on for YEARS and they haven't been shut down, still using the same phone number and everything. I guess I should go into business running one of these scams, since apparently no one will stop it.
- Caller: (phony) Sprint
- JeffMy company also got a bill from "Sprint" for a phone line we own for 1 call totaling $13.29. The bill looks very real so be careful when you do get one. The M.O. is the same with the PO Box 600607 Jacksonville FL 32260-0607 address showing up on the bill. I checked our phone bills on the number in question and we had the correct PIC in for our carrier so there was no way this call could of gone to another carrier. Complete scam..
Jeff - misleadReceived a bill 1/6/12, date of call was in October of 2011. I have long distance blocked on the phone number it shows, and the Sprint logo is in black, not yellow. Called Sprint, the bill shows a 10 digit account number which is not what Sprint uses. This is a scam according to Sprint.

- VLWThis is very bizarre because my daughter is in a correctional facility in Hawaii. When I called that facility to find out how to pay for the collect calls that my daughter was making to me, I was given this 800 number to call by the personnel at the facility. When I call it, like others, I get only an answering machine. I've left numerous messages but have never gotten a call back from them. Someone has blocked my phone now from receiving collect calls so I am beyond frustrated about what to do. The whole thing is very strange.
- Kim replies to JessThey called our office to ask for the address to send a bill and claimed to be MCI. I refused as we already use MCI and they have our address. They must have called back as I received a bill today from "MCI a Verizon company" same address as everyone else. The 800 number on my bill is 800-226-0014. I can't believe this has been going on for 3 yrs and the PO Box is still the same one. Talk about somebody not doing their job.
