bogus phone call about money owing on a past cancelled credit card

I received a phone call from this number and could not even understand what she was talking about??? What I could understand was it's a collection agency?

The message I received states that a collection agency called enhanced recovery corporation is trying to contact me.  They tell you to call 1-800-358-4328.

Received 3 calls in 2 days.  A taped voice says ERC and then disconnects.  The same thing happened each time.

they call me many times a day no answer if I call back they are not avaible,closed or it disconnects

i have recieved several calls from this number, and unlike the other reports I was actually able to talk to a live person. every time they call they ask for a john grouch, which by some coincidence happens to be my same initials. I finally had the opportunity to ask exactly which company they were calling from, and in accordance with the above posts the reply was "ERC" and all other prying that i attempted led nowhere. all of my questions were silenced with a reply that she could not give me any more information because it was a private business matter between her and mr. grouch.

i get calla from this number at least couple times a day....

I recieved 3 calls in 15 min. don't you they think they would hire someone that can at least speak english when you do get through

This company calls every day(since last week). They leave messages saying they have a case with the police dept. and need to speak with XYZ asap. When asked what the case is in regards to they say they can't give out further information unless I am that person. They would not tell me what type of company they were. It is the law that they state they are a debt collection agency. If this is a debt collection agency they do not have the right to harass people by saying they have a case against XYZ with the police.  I'm sure I would have received a letter by now from my local police station if this were true.

I get a call from this company everyday. I answer the phone and no one says anything . If i let the answering machine pick up they just hang up . Im not behind on any bills so i dont know who it is .

I called the number back after they called me 2 days in a row and spoke to someone that said they had been trying to contact another person.  John something, didn't really care.  He claims to have removed my number from the system.  We'll see.  The company was ERC.

I have gotten numerous calls from this stinking number to my cell phone.  I have called them back with absolutely no satisfaction.

They keep calling my cell phone, if I answer tehy say to wait to speak to someone, I wait for over a minute..then I hang up. This is wasting my minutes, and time. If I let my vm pick it up, they leave an automated message. I have no outstanding debt, and they also called my WORK phone too! This is really out of hand.

We need to put a top to these jerks!!! Where is ERC? I would go there and hurt them....Everyday at exactly 8:03 AM they call my wife's cell phone!! [***] I tell you, they supposedly took her number off the list five times already, any luck? No!!

I have received several calls from this number and several other numbers.  I have contacted a company that is ERC, which stands for Enhanced Recovery Corp.  Their number is 800-358-4328. They are a collections agency.  I don't know if they are the same ERC that is calling from this number, but I would guess that to be the case.
As for filing complaints against them, it is the Federal Trade Commission that oversees debt collectors and violations of the fair debt collections act.

Calling Every single days at least 5 times.

Should I ask the woman on a date?
