They called on my cell phone # and I have absolutely no clue how they managed to get it - I've only had it for 8-9 months.

Left a message about California Student Aid program.  ONly half the message was left, since it was a recording that my voice mail picked up.

This company calls me all the time because I have a default student loan but they work with you.

This person call me she say her name is jere, and calling about a student loan from emcm student out side on St. Paul man.. And ask me to make 9 payments of $82.. But I would not give her my card number... Feel like this maybe a scam

I got a call from this number.  The person said she was calling from E.C.M.C., a debt management company, because of a student loan I supposedly defaulted on from Duffs Business Institute in 1973.  I never attended Duff's.  She asked me for my date of birth.  I did not want to give it to her and asked her to tell me the date of birth of the person she was calling about and I would verify it if it was mine. She said she was not permitted to do that and asked me if I wanted to be transferred to file for a dispute.  After I quizzed her about what type of loan it was, when it was taken out, and where it originated, I did give her my dob.  She then said she had the wrong person and that she had already given me too much information about an account that wasn't mine.  I called the number back and it did connect to E.C.M.C.  Please tell me this was not a scam.  At no time did she ask for payment or a credit card.  

This number call me today March 23, 2015. I check and find that the number is a spam 800 367-1589. I wish this number would stop calling me.

These guys are a total scam.  They'll tell you anything to get money out of you.  The guy I talked to argued over every little detail with me, and when I told him to mail me what he had, he changed the subject.  They do not know current law, and they are just looking to pump people for money.

This company calls all the time with different names looking for a Keona Bridges. I asked them to stop calling because no one with that name works at my company. When I called back a number that was left on my voicemail 1800-367-1589 and 612-800-6666, they state that a Maddy does not work there. They have been calling for months and will NOT stop harassing me. Should the Media get involve???

I truly believed scammer are fishing for information and trying to get rich from people who don't think before actions.  I called them back and gave them my 2cents for stop calling me.  They need to find a job instead of trying to get $ from others.

These folks have been calling me at my federal workplace and asking for my social security number. They claim to be a student loan debt collector. I've never had a student loan in my lifetime. Scammers!

Called my workplace trying to verify SS# several times. Once from this # and once from India??
I tried to return call however all they want is my DOB & SS# and would not say who they are or what they do.

I see that ECMC is a student loan debt collector.I have never had a loan.
