Constantly receiving calls from this number especially at work.  It needs to STOP!

A person by the name of Rookie called and asked to speak with me regarding a debt. Nothing else what said so I hung up.

a person named michael jones called and said it was critical for me to call him back and then hung up.....

a person called Rookie called yesterday 03/05/08 and someone called back today on 03/06/08.  Just left a ref number and that was it.

Called and left message that I needed to call back immediately. No company name, her name wasn't on message or why she was calling?????///

Company name is Ameri? Loan Recovery, I'm unable to find any information about them on the internet but the number led me to this site.  They continue to call an employee at her job and after we tell them to call that person at home they continue to call in 30 minute increments.  Corey, Ashely and Kesiha all called within 30 minutes of each other. 800-404-9026 and left a reference number

Got a call from these knuckleheads telling me that I needed to respond within 24 hrs. or some very personal information was going to be disclosed to my employer.  I wish they would...

I used to work there. It's ameriloan. If they are are calling you then you or someone that used to have your number owes them money.  the website is ameriloan.com

i would suggest calling in so you can avoid further processing.

Ps. they arent disclosing information to you because it would be illegal for them to do so until you identify yourself.

federal trade commission established the fair debit collections practices act wich states:
§ 805. Communication in connection with debt collection
(a) COMMUNICATION WITH THE CONSUMER GENERALLY. Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt—
(1) at any unusual time or place or a time or place known or which should be known to be inconvenient to theconsumer. In the absence of knowledge of circumstances to the contrary, a debt collector shall assume that the convenient time for communicating with a consumer is after 8 o’clock antimeridian and before 9 o’clock postmeridian, local time at the consumer’s location;
(2) if the debt collector knows the consumer is represented by an attorney with respect to such debt and has knowledge of, or can readily ascertain, such attorney’s name and address, unless the attorney fails to respond within a reasonable period of time to a communication from the debt collector or unless the attorney consents to direct communication with the consumer; or
(3) at the consumer’s place of employment if the debt collector knows or has reason to know that the consumer’s employer prohibits the consumer from receiving such communication.
(b) COMMUNICATION WITH THIRD PARTIES. Except as provided in section 804, without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector, or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, or as reasonably necessary to effectuate a postjudgment judicial remedy, a debt collector may not communicate, in connection with the collection of any debt, with any person other than a consumer, his attorney, a consumer reporting agency if otherwise permitted by law, the creditor, the attorney of the creditor, or the attorney of the debt collector.
(c) CEASING COMMUNICATION. If a consumer notifies a debt collector in writing that the consumer refuses to pay a debt or that the consumer wishes the debt collector to cease further communication with the consumer, the debt collector shall not communicate further with the consumer with respect to such debt,

I keep getting these calls from this number. Really annoyed that they call everyday early in the morning, afternoon and late at night. They are harrassing me on a daily basis. WISH  THE CALLS WOULD STOP.

That doesn't work honey. They still harrass me and I've never gotten a loan from this company.

Daily calls. Never answers, leaves vm but no answer when called.

I took out a loan from them.  Someone got into my bank account illegally and took a large some of money. We reported it to the police and the bank shut down my account at once.  I had no time to make arrangements with them as this all happened very quickly, there payment was due to come out that same day.  I had every intention of making a new arrangement with them but here is what they did.  My account closed so they immediately started trying to take out large sums of money, way more than anything agreed to.  I had no problem making other people understand what happened and making new arrangements.  I would not give them any information about your account etc.  They can't be trusted and are unethical and should not be allowed to steal from peoples checking accounts.  The police told me to call the state attorney general.  He basically told me that these people due business out of state and pull this stuff all the time.  They are unscrupulous and not ethical. They created their own problem with me.

They cannot tell your employer or anyone any personal information.  It is a violation of the FTC.

These people do whatever they damn well please.  They don't care if it's legal or not.  They know that most people will not file a formal complaint.  I however have, several times.  They still don't stop.

Number keeps calling leaving voice mail saying i need to call them back
