They've been calling me for several days now, too, and never a human voice when I'd answer the phone.  Just an automated "Please call Mr. Miller at 800-408-3617", and then it disconnects.  I finally called that number today to give them a piece of my mind (I despise telemarketers, and especially automated ones).  Anyway, they are indeed a telemarketing company, there is no Mr. Miller (naturally).

Call is automated.. on new year's eve... saying it's a debt collector, gives # and also a "case number" to refer to. I called back as soon as they hung up, only to get an automated voice telling me the office was closed. I wish they would stop calling... I have no debts, and they call almost every day!!

    SICK HUBBY
They started calling yesterday. They got my wife who was trying to get my kids to a friend's house because of a snow day and I was in the hospital, so she was crazy trying to get her day started. The woman was very rude and said she was calling on behalf of AT&T. She left the 800-408-3617 number and my wife had to pay this right now or our phone was going to be turned off. I got home about 6pm and the same woman called back about 8:30pm and again was very rude insisting that I pay the bill right now or we would have our service turned off. I hung up on her. But today she called my wife 5 times while she was at work on her cell phone. I called AT&T today and we have not gone to collections, nor is our bill what they were claiming it was. The scary part my wife was so frazzled she almost gave them the info they were looking for. Now she is pissed as hell and wants blood. I am going to call our Attorny General's office tomorrow and let them know about the scam.
DON'T DO ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE WITH SOMEONE YOU DIDN'T CALL!!!!!

just pay your bill and collection calls will stop. use your head, and if it is a wrong number then just call in and tell people. you dont have to be rude and snoty, and yelling.

This number keeps calling the empty cube across from me at work 3-4 times a day.  We had a  temp working in that cube, but they are calling for some other person entirely.  We'd have IT cut the phone off, but we actually receive real messages on it, and I have to retrieve them.  The auto messages leave a "reference #" and says to call "John Huber" and say they are "NCO Financial".  I tried calling to tell them they have the wrong number and that they are calling a business where the person has never worked, but all it did was ring and ring and ring.  Thankfully they aren't calling my phone, but I have to check the other phone for messages, and weeding through these is extremely annoying and a waste of my time.

And to the person above who said "just pay your bills and collection calls will stop"- you obviously aren't understanding that these agencies are calling the wrong people, and not listening when we tell them they have the wrong number since they keep calling.  Obviously people in debt are going to give out wrong info, and yes, it is frustrating to try and explain that to them, because they never believe you and think you are covering up for the person they are trying to reach, so please don't tell us we're the ones being rude.

I have been receiving calls from this number about once a day for the past year or so. I have told them about 20 times they have the wrong number (they are asking for someone with a different name.) They still keep calling every day leaving voicemails. I had blocked the number for about 6 months then took the block off and they still keep calling. The block has been put back on now. It's really annoying
For the person who says "Pay Your Bill" You don't get it, do you? They are a collection agency and will not believe anything you tell them so they keep bugging the heck out of you until the debt is paid off
