Called me at 4:25 pm and told me that I needed to call them today and had a disguised sounding robot voice stating my reference number...the disquised robot voice was different than the rest of the call.  Yeah, like I am going to call this hookey company back.  From everything written about them after Googling this number, they are a scam company!!!  Send me a letter with all the information I need to research my end and stop calling me first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Also, I don't pick up ANY Unavailable numbers so keep calling and leaving your call back number...I will not answer or call you back.

My message machine picked up call from a woman who did not identify herself, didn't identify who she was trying to contact, and claimed that she was from NCO financial.  As described by Combo we got a similar message on our land line:

They also left a code.  My natural tendency is to be helpful and informed them that we are not the party they seek since we have no debts.  But my online searches revealed that they engage in unethical business practices.

So proceed with caution.

I kept getting these 'unavailable" messages - with no number attached and they don't leave a it was.    They wanted to speak to my brother who just has my phone for messages.  Now that I know who the "unavailable" is (why doesn't a number ever show it just shows as 000-000-0000, we will just ignore them.  He does not have any credit cards or loans  - so this is just a hoax,

Even though the person from N.C.O. Financial Systems said their call is important I would be highly suspicious. They have called me lately from two different numbers. Yesterday their robo machine called me and asked for a specific person that I never heard of. It gave me 3 options. Push one if I am that person. Push 2 if it's the right number but the person isn't in and push 3 if they had the wrong number. I pushed 3. Then the machine asked me to stay on the line so a live person could talk to me to clean things up. That's when I hung up. Today they called me again with some other spiel. I don't have any past due bills so there is obviously no reason to call me. I looked them up and they've been in trouble before. In fact a few years ago they were fined 1 1/2 million dollars for misrepresenting themselves. I believe they are phishing for information.
