Okay i have been recieving calls for about 2 weeks now, on my cell phone at around 8am-10am EVERYDAY. its unknown so i usually dont answer, and they then leave me a voice mail, saying "it is important you call us regarding an important business matter" - and it gives me a toll free number. this voice on the voice mail is a machine. I have never called them back, because i am a teenager and dont have any business matters. just yesterday i recieved another call from an unknown caller and they then left another, different message on my voice mail, plus this time it was an actuall womans voice, not pre recorded machine, she said, "this message is for, (she stated my FULL NAME) and said please call and gave me this number 1-800-414-4352" and then she continued to say that they wish for me to call today..... umm.. okay... i believe this is like harrassment.. riight?.. i dont believe that they are allowed to call and leave 15 messages on a persons cell phone answering machine.. and thhen call and somehow they TRY AND SAY your name. Help.

I got three voice messages from this weird NO.

I got the same thing and called back, I believe that it is a collections agency but someone else had put down my number as their contact info. If you call back and talk to them it's probably just a matter of mistaken identidy

I have been getting calls from these people as well for some random person, they wont stop calling and wont give me any information because i am not the person they are calling for. They leave me 2 messages a day, for the past two weeks. WTF!

These idiots have been leaving me a message a week for 2 months now.  They never say who they are or what they want.  Today I finally called them to tell them to put us on their do not call list and it's a financial group.  They ought to be shot for trying to solicit business this way, and anyone who does business with them ought to be shot for not knowing these guys are clearly fly-by-nighters.  Probably work out of the backseat of a Buick.

This is a collection agency from Montreal, Quebec. They sent me a letter saying that I have an overdue account with Columbia House.

The name of this agency is:NCO Financial Services, INC.

Regarding the 800 414 4352 tel number. It is a computer voice with a space to insert a name.It is the voice of a old woman who says my name. There is no mention of the type of business for the call.If they were really sincere and want a return call, they really should be detailed and state the nature of the call.The phone call is void of any real details.Question is:: Who is the old woman who says the name of the person be called? With no mention of a company or the name of the old woman , why would I be interested in returning the call !!!!!!

These guys keep calling me three - four times a day. When I did call them back, I apparently had 'duty fees' outstanding from a package I had received months ago from the States. I asked for them to send me some information (I had already paid the $20 they were asking for when I received the package), and after they confirmed that I still had money owing I parted with another $20.

But now - a few months later and almost a year after the first $20 payment on delivery - they're calling me again and again for the same fee that I have already paid despite confirming that I had covered the amount owed. I've been woken up at 5 in the damn morning by these people.

They call every damn day and say: " we're calling for-PARTS. then the default call back message. Whaaa???? parts. This is a business line, but no parts dept. here, thats for sure. What the hell?? too vague for me to waste my time calling back.

Justvan update, but over a year later they are STILL at it.

NCO Finacial is a collection agency a real bunch of loosers when it comes to telephone communication, they buy up dept notes from the likes of UPS, Fedex, in my case 15.32 CDN for Fedex's after payment shipping scam just like UPS's, cross border fee's scam.

Receiving these messages as well.

On a home phone and it goes to voice mail which is VOIP and digitized so I can delete them without listening to them.  Simple routing filter on my inbound email.

I also have been nagged by Fedex over some brokerage charges from something shipped by Fedex from the US to Canada.  I believe it is Fedex.  The brokerage charges were never discussed or approved by me so I have NO IDEA why they think they should be able to collect the charges from me.  The product was shipped to me by a US vendor.  If there were charges (brokerage) I would have told them to return the product.  Since I was never asked, I refuse to pay the charge.

I believe this to a FEDEX scam and the brokerage firm is likely related to FEDEX or an employee/subsiduary of FEDEX.

One of the best way to intimidate and inconvenience any collection agency that continue to intimidate and inconvenience you is to do the following...
When you pick the call, tell the person to hold, then turn on your home sound system and put it to its highest volume, then without saying anything, just put the phone right to the speakers so that the sound would be so loud to make the caller hang up. If you have no loud sound system, use your tv by turning it to music channel, put it to its maximum and place the phone right to the tv speakers.
Do that every time you get calls from collection agency or agencies. They become frustrated and disturbed just the way they also have been disturbing you. We should all do this to keep these idiots from intimidating us anytime and every time they think they can.

Do it cos it works. Now most have backed off. If they call my number or my house, they know what they are going to get, they know what they expect. ,Don't forget the objective... to disturb them as much as they disturb and intimidate you. So you are just doing same to them. If they don't want to be blasted with unexpected loud music, they should stop calling people's home.

These idiots call my cell five or more times a day they sometimes let it ring twice then hang up only to call right back they never leave messages the one time i answered demanding payment they were completely rude and absolute [***] i told them i had no idea what they were talking about and that my cousin was just brutally murdered so i didnt have time for this they didnt care they just want their money. Who the hell r these uncompassionate rude [***]!!!! Even if someone did owe for a debt they should be nice polite and show compassion they would probably get a better outcome we are all people who all have problems but we also all have hearts start using them instead of being complete pricks!!!!
