Medco /ExpressScript

Got a call from this number...Bad thing is that scammers are using this # to come up instead of their name when they call you...they could just as easily use anyone's phone# in place of a name...
"First".....If this was really Medco/Express Scripts calling, they won't be asking for your Name, S.S., Phone#, etc. or any type of information as they already know it & have it in your records when they are actually the ones calling you...
"Secondly".....If you don't have them as your prescription provider, they won't be calling to advertise for you to take them as a prescription provider as what insurance you have will most likely have a provider & it's not always Medco/Express Scripts...
"Thirdly".....If Medco/Express Scripts is actually the one calling you, it's because you do have them as a prescription provider & there will be a recording & not a real person speaking...
"Fourthly".....If you do have Medco/Express Scripts as your provider, you can immediately call them back & have them confirm to you that they didn't call & that scammers are using their # to try & steal your identity...

I have had scammers call me & try to get me to give them a credit card number over the phone but the thing is that they won't tell me what credit card company they are calling from & just keep saying, "your credit card"...they want my credit card number so they can confirm that it's me & they can give me a better deal...I knew this was a scammer as soon as they wouldn't tell me what credit card company they were from...

so...I played their little game & have me some fun that day...what I was doing actually was stopping them from calling other people for those few minutes...they kept saying they could give me 6% interest on my card, I said that wasn't low enough because I already have 5.5% (which I didn't because it was way higher than the 6% he was offering but I knew he was a bad guy so I was just acting as if I was doing a script for a show & just having fun), so I got him down to 2.3%, (no credit card company would ever go that low, they would go out of business)...anyways, the guy ask for a my credit card # & I said, which card...he said, your credit card...so I said, just a minute while I get my card...I actually went to the bathroom & did my business & then went into my kitchen & got me a cold glass of iced tea...I then got back on the phone expecting him to have hung up by now, but he was still on the line...

I got back on the line & I apologized for taking so long because I had dropped my credit card & it slid up under a heavy chair & I had a hard time moving the chair so I could get the card...he said that was no problem...so I ask if he was ready to write down my credit card number & he said yes...red flag right there, they don't write credit card numbers down anymore, that's stone age, they type it in computers that they are sitting in front of...duh...I made this guy think he was dealing with a really stupid person & he really thought I was going to give him my credit card number...so I proceeded to give him my number, 0000-0000-0000-0000...he then called me a bunch of really bad names & then hung up by slamming his phone down so hard, it would be a miracle if he didn't break his receiver when he hung up...so, if everyone did this to all the scammers, they would eventually have to go into another line of work...I had fun & I had kept this guy on the line for 22 minutes letting him think all that time he was actually going to get my credit card number & him thinking I was such a fool & idiot but I ended up making him the fool & idiot for those 22 minutes & stopped him from scamming anyone else for those 22 minutes...

After he hung up, I called my Attorney General's office & they sent me out some papers to fill out & send back to them...the chances of them catching that bad guy is slim because the call is more than likely that it is coming from another country & connected to a number her in the U.S. & then routed to whatever number is next in line when this guy calls, & he probably hasn't a clue to what number he called unless I had actually given him a phone number...at that point, all he wanted was a credit card number & then he figured everything else like phone#, S.S.# etc would be easy to get from me...

So you do need to call the Attorney Generals office so they can have tons of info on file so that if some day they do have some type of advanced knowledge & figure out from exactly where they are calling from by being able to trace the call back through the phone they call to in the states through, they will have all this info to use against then in a World Court if in time we can advance to something like that...And say if a person goes to a "World Court", if & when he/she are found guilty, they would go to a prison called a "World Prison" that would be established somewhere out in the middle of the ocean, like those oil platforms are, except that it would be much much larger & funded by every country in the world due to the fact that every country would have bad people there...& lastly, if you go to World Prison, you never get out except on the day you die of old age, sickness or disease etc...

So have fun the next time a scammer calls you & never, never, never give out any information about yourself, don't give out your credit card # , don't give out your phone #, definately don't give out your S.S. # & don't give out your drivers license # & definately don't make up any numbers as a fake credit card # as you might be actually giving out someone's real credit card #...& let the last thing you do to the scammer is give out the zero's like I listed about the middle of my article here when they ask for a credit card number...don't make it easy for them...waist as much of their time as possible like I did for that 22 minutes...I'm sure he thought it would only take about 3.5 minutes to get my credit card number so I saved about 6 people from being scammed that day...so pay it forward & try & see how many people you can prevent from getting scammed by waisting the scammers time...  
 

Three time call me

Although this is not the number on ExpressScript cards, I called the number on the card and they confirmed that they had called (to offer "timely" information on their services. And they do ask for information like address, which they SHOULD have, but don't seem to have, as they are trying to get people to use them for mail-order for prescriptions (rather than a pharmacy) and are trying to sneak a mailing address from you. Not a scam, but a little shady nonetheless.

This might be a plain phishing scammer looking to do some ID theft, but more likely a shady pharmacy in India trying to get you to pay crappy meds. They like to confuse you the name game.
