These people call themselves the Jacar Group of Companies, they call me at my desk in my office every day, and will not believe that I am not the man they are looking for.  I feel harassed and want to do something about it but can't.  He hasn't has my phone number in well over a year.  When I ask them to stop, they don't, so every day I tell each person that I am not the man they are looking for, but it does no good.

i received a call from them as well. they left a message that they were calling about a very important matter and it was "imperative that i call them back" before close of business today. called back to have my name and number removed from their call list and no answer, just dead air while "waiting for next representative".

I too got a call from this number, after reading this messages I sure don't want to call back, the person also said that she's from the jacar group, she has a very heavy accent, like from India. I think her name is Sherlly Brown.
Why do people do this!!

They keep call my phone in a threatening manner and when you call them back the will not tell you anything about the company or why they are calling you. I guess they are a scam.

I have got a lot of calls from this number, and every time its the same thing. They say I owe them money and I need to give them my credit card number or bank account number to settle the debt. And I haven't even heard of this company. It definitely is a scam. Please don't fall for what they say.

This company calls my work and says I owe them money and that I need to settle my debt. Grant it that I have debts but they refuse to give me details unless I give them a pymt. Why would I pay someone I don't know? For all I know, I'm paying my creditors and then if I pay this company as well, I could be paying twice (unnecessarily). I don't have a problem paying my debts but I do want to know who they are and what the debt is first before I start giving them my credit card for payment. When I tried to call back a few times, there was a pre-recorded msg that said "all circuits are busy." It makes me wonder whether this company is legit or not....maybe not

We got the same telephone call this AM on our landline. The VM left was please call this office back to discuss an important matter on the debt you owe. We don't have any outstanding debts!!!  I tried calling the number back and get the same spiel "all circuits are busy". I filed a report with the Federal Trades.  I could barely understand the guy who left a message on our VM. (broken English) BTW the number that came up on our caller id was 91345.

I was left a voice message that said to call back this number and "an agent will be able to help resolve this matter". I found their message laughable, seeing as their message wasn't even complete, as if they began their speech as soon as they heard my voice mail greeting begin. Their number showed up on my cell as 91345. They spoke perfect, serous-toned English. Ah, and I'm debt-free myself, so if they're calling as a collection agency, I'm certainly not going to be responsive.

Somehow they got my cell phone # and called it with the same message everyone else has gotten.  Scam? You bet!

Got the same call. Claimed to be " The Jacar Group ", and there was a claim on thier desk and to avoid legal action, call 800-431-4061 mediately . All I get is " all circuits are busy ". Don't know who these guys are and have no intention of playing their game. Thanks for letting me vent ............ John

I got a call from them yesterday saying that they had a file on their desk that needed to be resolved immediately, it was a recording that was there and I had answered the phone.  They said that I needed to call 1-800-431-4061 and I knew it was a scam, but called it anyways, to see if I could get any imformation from them and it just said that all circuits were busy.  If they call you back and you have someone live to talk to, ask for their Tax id number and where they are from so that you can check into them with the Better Business Bureau.  That will stop them from calling.  We have done it before and it works like a charm.

i get the same recorded message but don't owe anyone any money so don't know what they want.  I hate these loser companies.  The worse is Jon Berry and Associates.

I just got this message lesser than five minutes ago. I got the same exact message, and called back just to hear all circuits are busy..so yes its a scam alright! no real debt collecting company other than a radio station will have a busy phone circuit like this. If they're legit and are really trying to collect money, they would have a million lines open and ready...

Got the same message on my cell phone...called and got the "all circuits are busy" message. I think it is a scam by the cell companies to eat up your airtime....... no self respecting debt collector would have a phone that is never available. I even tried at midnight EDT and got "the message"
