missed call.. tryed to call back and phone disconnets call everytime.  it wont ring through to the phone number.

They called me, I missed the call, and returned it. A woman answered the phone, and when I began asking who it was, she disconnected the call. Later the same day, they called again, and I answered; then the call was disconnected.

800-436-5285 is for the texas guaranteed student loan dept at General Revenue Corp... Its is a good idea to call them back...

It seems to be an agency. I keep asking them to stop calling me, as they are looking for someone named Cinday, and that's not me. It's harrassing, and annoying. Yesterday a guy named Ryan ( i think that was his name ) said that he would remove me from their phone list. I got another call this morning.

Chris called my house and herassed my 10 year old child. He continued to herass her to the point of her being fearful. This is against the law.

This company tried my cell phone first. I never answer 800 numbers on my cell. It is Texas Guarenteed and they will stop at nothing to get in touch with you and attempt to bleed you dry with student loan fees and interest and more fees and more interest. If YOU DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE, THEY WILL LOOK YOU UP ON THE INTERNET AND FIND YOUR CURRENT PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AND CALL YOUR WORK A DOZEN TIMES PER DAY UNTIL YOU ARE FORCED TO ANSWER THEM OR FACE BEING FIRED FOR THEM CALLING SO MUCH.

It is for Texas guaranteed they will stop at nothing but if you co-operate with them they will try to work with you the best they can they did it for me

You wanna know what maybe if you people would just grow up and take care of your responsiblities instead of complaining about people calling you, that are actually trying to help you.. you wouldn't have these problems in the first place.. If you would just talk to them, listen to what they have to say, and take the proper actions the calls will stop instead of just hanging up on them, screaming at them.. and what ever else you might do..  
We are just doing our jobs, if you couldn't pay it back you shouldn't have taken the damn loan out.. BTW I hear Burger King is hiring for those of you that don't have jobs..

I get these calls for a Nicole over and over and over.  Please do your investigation....this is a not new phone number for me (two years now) and I am not Nicole!!!
So tired of being called and called and called. Enough!!!!

Has called twice today alone.  They have different people on the phone......male, female.

they all 10 times a day....the comment on here about you should not have taken the loan if you couldn't pay it back...some of the schools out there are bogus bs why would you pay it back when the whole loan was a scam.? you can send in mounds and mounds of paperwork they still want their money even when they know you were ripped off and never got an education.

Some loan co.  some say TX Guaranteed Loan Company.  Very intimidating and harrassing.  I did not ever take out a loan so I don't know why they did this to me.  

Someone should make this illegal.

I people don't answer because of low lives like you...Stuff happens...no one expects to be in a place where they can't afford to take care of all of their responsibilities. I hope you feel the same way when you fall on your behind and end up with nothing..maybe you can get a job at burger king too. That's the risk loan companies take when lending to college students, and they to have insurance to cover when the loans don't get paid back... but watch what kind of trash you task because you don't know what tomorrow might bring. You can be just a paycheck away from loosing it all..so watch your mouth.

I got a call from 1-800-436-5285 looking for someone I did not know.  They did identify themselves as Texas Guarenteed Student Loan.  I looked up the number for TG and it is listed on their web site as 1-800252-9743.  Looks like someone has hijacked their number.

Just got a missed call (2/23/11, 8:24 AM) from this number for the 1st time on my cell phone, which is active in the DO NOT CALL registry.  I never answer calls from 1-8xx numbers.  No voicemail left.

They can keep calling I will not answer the fax machine will. I do not answer 800 number anyway. Like they said Anyone can lose their job anytime. So I would not b e so cockey about Buger King hiring you find your self working for Burger King.  Have you every thought maybe someone at time was going to complete school but got very ill had to quit and now can not afford to pay that student loan back . They could have a hard time buying food getting assist with their bills.Or maybe going to places that help them by given food too them. They are on SSI. Yes they get food stamps can you live on $100.00 a month on food stamp? Well that's what I do. Had no idea all this going to happen . If I did would have never did a student loan.

These same people have called since I moved to this home in fall 2009 and I have explained and explained and explained to both men and women that there is no one here by the name of Crystal McGuire.  The last time, before today, 5-4-2011, I could hear whispers and then a man's voice came on and when I snapped I have told you repeatedly there is no one here by that name he became very rude.  I have again received another one of their calls today demanding I answer, push 2 if I need to hold to get her or push 3 if she is not home.  I am turning them into the phone company and to the feds if I can find an email or phone number for the feds.

These guys called me and had my name and information and school ... heres the funny part ... I NEVER TOOK OUT ANY STUDENT LOANS ... no bs, i saved up my money and went community college before going to state so i wouldnt have to

and no im not trying to make fun of any of you who have a legitimate debt cause i know how it is, a friend of mine who did take out loans declared bankruptcy but it doesnt erase the student debt for some reason.
