I received a call asking for Mr. Finnegan and then a few minutes later the guy told me HE was Mr. Finnegan.

I got the same call about the Mr. Finnegan and  never called it back cus it wasn't me.  Then the next day I get a call from the same number only its now from a recorded message by a screaming man named Marshall telling me he is trying to collect a debt.  No company was identified or any other info about what it was about. I'm not calling it back, there has been a rash of scammers calling the OK area and they charge you $99 a minute when you call them back.

I do not have an outstanding debt with anyone.  Does anyone know what company this is?  Thanks!

Voice mail was left - but only half of it - like a recording - man's voice- sounded very excited - all that was recorded was - "...you have not taken advantage of...again - This is not a solicitation - but a CALL FROM A DEBT COLLECTOR!! My name is Marshall Maxwell and the TOLL FREE number to reach my office is 1-800-443-2963.

Received several messages daily from recording saying " This Marshall Maxwell" I called the number back to find out why they are calling and they told me they were looking for someone woth the smae last name as mine I told them that they have the wrong number, they told me that someone used this number on an account they have, I told them no on lives here by that name. They were like yeah right! I wish they would stop calling my house everyday i have an annoying messgae from them.

This is a horrible debt collector.  They call under a few different numbers and are very rude.  I looked them up online and they are being investigated for unfair debt collection practices.  They buy old debts and call and harrass people.

well, does anyone actually know the name of this agency?  getting the same screaming man message here too.

I recieved many threating phone calls something about bouncing a check over state line. the man is screaming on my phone's answering machine at least 3 times a day. (Mr. Maxwell) as he call himself as a )representative from National Action Financial Services ext 2468. Anyways i dont have a checking account only a saving, so i dont know what to do i have asked this man to stop calling serveral times and that i dont have a checking account. I'll give it another week and i am going to a lawyer. As i have 3 small children who have to hear this man everytime i check my messages. My ? is does anyone know this mans true identity?

They called me saying I had a debt from Eddie Bauer stores from 2003.  The original debt was $256.73, now $382.51.  I said I have never made such a purchase and he said that he would put me down as a direct refusal and a lawyer would contact me.  He couldn't tell me what the purchase was for and said that Eddie Bauer doesn't have that info anymore "they've washed their hands of it".  I called Eddie Bauer company and they have no record of me making a purchase.
The debt collector had my SSN and old address.

Just received a call from this number today for the first time.  They must be linked to the 866-529-1885 "debt collector" scam that I had been receiving.  They leave barely intelligible calls saying that it is a matter regarding debt collection and something about me "not taking advantage of the situation".  This is so ridiculous.  I don't owe any debt and i refuse to call and be part of their scam.  Can't block 800 numbers through my phone company and (legitimate) debt collectors are allowed to call, even people on the national Do not call registry.  SO THIS IS A NEW TYPE OF SCAM THAT THEY TRY TO SCARE PEOPLE INTO CALLING THEIR NUMBER TO GET PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM YOU.  I know that i don't owe anyone, so why would I call?  Let them mail me something regarding what this is about.  Let them call me in person.  Why would they have a "Calling Machine" if this were a legitimate "debt collection" company???

I had the same anoying message from 1-800-443-2963 that most people here have reported. It's half of a message and says something about an offer not and than man is loud, excited and places a lot of emphasis on pronunciation of his "words". They don't leave enough info about why they are calling or from the company they are calling on behalf. The message is "...you have not taken advantage of...again - This is not a solicitation - but a CALL FROM A DEBT COLLECTOR!! My name is Marshall Maxwell and the TOLL FREE number to reach my office is 1-800-443-2963. Has anyone found any info on this yet??

I heard what sounded like almost yelling on my message machine asking for a Marshal Maxwell - I almost picked up the phone to tell them they had the wrong number.  

After reading these comments I am glad I did not.

Later in the message which he says I need to talk to him he states he is Marshal Maxwell and it involves an urgent debt matter.

How is this guy allowed to do this?  If he calls people three times a day like this (and he has not yet with me) that is phone harassment!

Have began gettting the same calls.  The guy is freaking me out. I have no idea who I would owe too.

What is up with Marshall Maxwell!?!?In the the message, He said "this is a message a call from Marshall Maxwell,you can reach my office at 1800-443-2963 this is not a call of solicitation,this is a kind sensitive matter that will  not be taken advantage of,     AGAIN this is not a call of solicitation, a call from MARSHALL MAXWELL. my toll free. And that was it. It sounded almost sounded like yelling. Please find his true identity!

I have kept track of the calls from Marshall since June. I had eleven in June and four so far now in July. He called before June, but I did not log them in at that time. He calls all hours of the day, but I will say no later than 9:45 nor earlier than 8:45 a.m. This is really bothering me. When I called the Better Business Bureau they said to call him back and tell him he had the wrong number. No way will I do that. I have never had a bad debt in all my 75 years!

UGH! I get this same call. One day I got it 3 times within one hour. They kept calling and calling almost every other day, so eventually I picked it up when they called to tell them they had to the wrong number. It is just a recording and I cannot speak to anyone. I also tried to call the number back to tell them they had to wrong number but cannot reach anyone. This is very irritating.

I get the same calls from 4 different #'s 18005291885, 18004432963, 18004432067 and 18004039624. Same guy, Marshall Maxwell, and another guy - both sound like they went to the Billy Mays school of voice projecting! Mr. Maxwell kindly informed my answering maching that he is a DEBT COLLECTOR! I let my husband listen to it, and he found it as laughable as I did. It has to be a scam because it came up suddenly, and I haven't bought anything on credit in 9 years, and I don't have a checking acct. I filed a complaint with the FCC. Good luck everyone on getting rid of these losers!!

The interesting thing is that the message indicates they have tried to contact me through mail - an absolute and outright lie!  I haven't received anything from Marshall or National Action Finance Services... No way would I call this number back!

I received this call for about the 7th or 8th time over the past three weeks.  Is there any way to stop this maxwell marshall loser.  How can they expect anyone to take them seriously when they leave such a message.  Who can we contact to report this abuse?

I had this guy call for the 1st time today! He puts soooo much emphasis on certain words (SEE BELOW IN MY TRANSLATION) :-)
