They are calling and posing as a collection company but they do not have any information on what they are collecting for. It is a total scam!!!

I came home one day, and there was a message regarding a name of someone whom, I do not know. He left a number, and a fuzzy name(not clear), and a phone number. I ignored the call, and did not call back.. to "CHASE"

The very next day another call, and than another! still I gave no reply.

Then, early in the morning, about 7:30am the phone rang! and than there was the person questioning me, about a Lauren Sisco, I said no, And, you would have thought that a crime had been committed, than he started laughing when I got p  oed.

I told this person who did not want to leave his name, stop the calls! He told me that he is going to call again, and again until Lauren picks up..

I have lived alone for 16yrs.

I got a call from this number 1-800-463-9293 for someone with my last name.  My 13 year old son answered the phone and then they proceeded to give him a hard time.  I called the number back with Ext 5505.   I asked for the name of the company and why they were calling, they would not tell me. I asked to speak with a supervisor who said her name was Heather Mills  (like I believe that) and asked her for the name of the company, she said NO, I said but you are calling my house I think I have the right to know.  She said “look it up” and then hung up.

rec'd msg on new cellphone # for Julie Norris from Mr Lyons @8004639293. Cld them back, told them I've had this # about 2 months and have been barraged with bill collector calls and messages. They 'said' they would remove my number from their calling list....but time will tell and we will see. I'll keep you updated.

Same nonsense as other posts.  Calling on behalf Chase Bank  ( be nice if i did business with Chase) about a person I never heard of.  We have had same house, same phone number for 25 years.    

Never caled them back.  If I hear from then again, will report to NY State attorney generals office liek many others have.

Claiming they are a debt collector for Chase bank.

This is Capital Management a ruthless, spineless, lower than "amoeba slime" company what will take any number they get a hold of and Harass Innocent People. Specially if you don't know who they are calling about.

They got a hold of our Unlisted House number a month after we got our first house phone. They keep asking for a guy that we don't know about. I've told several agents that they have the wrong number. That's when they get Very Nasty, Starts Accusations and Insults. When we asked for a supervisor or to be placed on their
Do Not Call" list, they will end the call.

They also call from these other numbers or "UNKNOWN" when they intentionally leave the I.D. blank.

STEPS To TAKE:
- First off, register your home/cell/virtual phone numbers on the National Do No Call Registry. (www.donotcall.gov)
- Keep track of dates/times they call (if you talk to someone or if it's an automated machine)
- Report VIOLATONs to the Do Not Call registry
     **ALL Automated Calls are ILLEGAL, so report them each time
- If things don't stop after a couple of months, go to your Local Police Department and file for Harassment.

I have recieved the same Phone number 1-800-463-9293, with a reference number. I don't know who this is or what they want. I have not called this number at all!

This is Capital Management for Capital One Credit Cards. It is a debt collector.
I love how the ask for a certain person and say if you are not this person hang up and do not listen to this call. DO THEY REALLY THINK PEOPLE ARE NOT GOING TO LISTEN?

You are correct that it is Capital Management but it is not necessarily Capital One.  Not the same company but they might try to collect a Cap. 1 debt, but usually trying to collect Chase cc debt.  Just because the name starts with Capital does not make it Capital one.

Just got a call from them asking for my fiance. She was extremely rude, and would not tell me what it was about. She got even angrier when I refused to give her my fiances number.
