I got a voicemail message from 800-474-3798.  It was a recording from Kathleen Brooks at Progressive Financial Services, a debt-collecting company.  The person they were looking for - who supposedly owes medical debts - was my dad, who has been dead for 11 years.  My mom had paid off all medical bills when he died, so this feels like a scam to me.  Does anyone know anything about this?

Yes, this company is a scam!!!  They called me saying I owed medical bills, which is untrue.  They wanted me to give them my social security number to verify that it was really the person they were looking for. When I told them to stop calling my number and harassing me they asked me how I would pay for the bill.  They wanted a credit card number!!  I told them they were crazy.  I plan to report them to the state Attorney General office.  They messed with the wrong person!

This number calls at least once a day at various times througout the day, usually more than once.  Never leave a voicemail and I am not not going to answer an automated dialer service.  Best of luck elsewhere, moron auto dialer.

I get calls from this # almost every day on a recently aquired cell phone.  When I called back to let them know they have the wrong # they say they can't identify my number in their system so they can't do anything to stop the calls.

This number calls me 3 times a day everyday.... LEAVE ME ALONE
