Called. Automated voice asking me to hold. I hung up. # Called back later. No one on the line.

Recieved call from this number left vmail that was automated told me to hold for important MSG then a lady said hello and hung up on the vmail

Automated message advising they are a debt collection company.

Received a call from E R Solutions claiming that I had to call this number to deal with an outstanding debt issue. The call was recorded,l which is illegal since I have no business relationship with this organization. This appears to be a scam of some sort. Will be reporting to the FTC shortly.

Recieved call from this number. I ignored it and checked a vmail they left, a recorded voice told me to hold and then stopped.

E R Solutions.  Wanted to collect a debt of my soon to be ex husband. Note todays date. The bill was from 2000!!!!! When I attempted to call back and advise them on the statue of limitations ... no one would answer.  Crooks!

Actually, ER Solutions is a REAL debt collector. I got screwed up in a joint (never never again) checking account with an old g/f. Long story short, we broke up, I thought I'd closed the account,,,4 years later, now, I go to open a new account at a different bank and was told about the original account with WaMu, taken over by Chase. Called Chase, they said it had been turned over to ERS. Chase gave me their #, called and settled for 65%. $456.89 later all is well. I had to eat it. Moral of story,,,keep your financial stuff YOUR FINANCIAL STUFF. Lesson learned.

I know people at Chase, so I was able to 'backdoor' it and made sure it was all legit. ERS sucks customer service wise, but they are who they say they are.

I got a message from them today stating they were looking for someone I didn't know.  I called the number (800-477-5451), got automatic answer stating for me to hold.  After a minute, I was disconnected.  Thanks to a giving spirit, I decided to continue to call back as I was unloading my briefcase and waiting for my PC to boot up.  On the 7th call, I finally had someone pick up the phone.  I told them I was not the person they were looking for.  The lady was very nice and asked for my phone number so it could be removed from their system.  I'm going to bookmark this page in case something develops, but must report that despite the annoying fact I kept getting disconnected, I was not otherwise negatively affected by this experience.

Automated Teller (English Accent in the US?).

Anyways, it was a debt collector.  I thought a debt with WAMU (now Chase) was cleared but, it is not.

This company Covergent Outsourcing LLC calls and leaves a recorded message for someone that doesn't live here. They have called 30 times and left messages on our answering machine. They want us to call them if we are not the person they are looking for. If you received this kind of call from them, report them to the Do Not Call list federal agency DoNotCall.gov This law about unauthorized phone harrasment was passed by congress 10 years ago.

They called my cell phone 3 times today and never left a message

They call my house phone and if they leave a message . It would say like this could you please call us back at this number. Don't know who they calling for never leave a name.Who dose that.

Called several times I'm getting enforces involved if I receive any more calls

They buy old debts for short money. Some may be valid as you mention. They will try to get any money they can from you. Four years is pretty recent for them. Seven years marks the statute of limitations. Tell the caller you want everything in writing so you can review with your lawyer. They get mad.

requesting me to call 1 800 477 5451 Didnt  ask for anyone by name or give any specific information  I did not answer call since i know i have no outstanding debts figured it was a scam

I got the exact same thing. I have called back and left messages but can't get a real person. I know what I owe and I definitely don't owe to any old debts. How do I get them to stop?!
