Message left on machine about mother's estate.  Knew my first & last name  then called me by nickname.  nothing needed probate. no action taken, will wait and see if they call again

Called my phone number claiming that I would receive 'something' from a relative's estate.  They knew my name
and phone number - I do not have any relative with that name.,  I have read other comments and have concluded
that this is a scam and I am going to submit a complaint to the states attorney general.  BEWARE of this SCAM!!

Got a call from them saying they wished to talk to the person handling the affairs of the deceased *me*.  They offered their condolences, but I think the reports of my death are somewhat premature.  They call about three times a week.  I'm kind of sick of it.

They are debt collector's... trying to get a debt paid from someone handling the deceased affairs. Just tell them they have the wrong number , and no one their is handling that kind of stuff. They will remove your number and quit calling.

This place is Phillips-Cohen and won't quit calling. They were told over the phone months ago who was handling the affairs and also contacted by an attorney but continue to call my number. I'm the deceased's daughter but have nothing to do with her final affairs. Last time I actually answered the phone I asked the guy why he was calling and he hung up on me!   They call at least twice daily.

OH!  And rumor has it that this company has been investigated already for unfair debt collection practices... but I can't validate that statement.

These robo calls come in daily and I am sick of them.  I have called the phone number they leave and told them repeatedly they have the wrong number but they still keep calling.  What an annoyance!!!!

Called about my brothers estate, said he owed a debt of 11,000 from 2001 but he was bedridden in a hosp. then so he said, my mistake I meant 2011. I said he was in a coma then. Send me some paper work. He hung up on me. I called the courts and they said no way would the judge allow debts over 7 years old and that this company was known for harassment and must you the death rolls. She said this stuff happens all the time!
Sheesh, really...you lose a relative and then have this crap too.
