When picked up, there was loud static.  When I called the number back, there was a recording mentioning "Black List."  It said hang up if you want to continue receiving their calls, input your phone number if you want your number removed from their list.

got the same annoying static "message"...afraid if I called "they" would know my number was an active number and I don't want to give any additional ammunition to these marketers

received a call from this number 2 weeks ago--guy said sorry wrong #. today i had a message left from this same number it was Naturalawn (who does service my lawn). they usually call when i am not home and never leave a message. i wonder if the 800 number is a fake calling number that people buy so that you don't see who is calling you.

I just received a call from this number.  When I answered, the guy said..."sorry, wrong number" and hung up.

A Google search indicates that a Scott Tucker is selling a Real Estate resell scheme: Get Rich Quick!  They are probably testing numbers on the DNC list near expiration to see if they are active so they can market their scam.  A goodly portion of email spam comes from like scams.

Just got the same call from the guy who said "wrong number". Obviously, with many of us getting the "wrong number" info, there's something fishy going on.

I got a call about some kind grand opening with pretzels and stuff and christmas items.  most anoying...did not return the call for fear of a call list

Just got a call and voicemail from that number. I didn't really listen to the message because it was 8pm and I thought I was an emergency! (here my friends know not to call that late)  Anyway the guy said something like "this is a marketing call and it's very effective but if you don't want to get any of these press 3 now" and so I did. The call disconnected.

When I hit the callback button the phone message answered to "Nationwide Blacklist" ~ I did a search but didn't learn anything.

left voicemail - "this is a referral program for sending carpet cleaning to them or referring people to them" - the number left was for Crown Carpet Care in San Diego 619-280-4555

Automated message stating call was from Alexander Chiropractic. It gave an option of getting on their black list- do not call list and I did that.

I get a call from this number 800-492-0169.... saying something about "... open-house event,.... if you do not want to get further calls, please press 3...."

since it keep calling me, I pressed 3.... hope this is not some kind of scam

I called this number back and the recording said it is called Blacklist. People who I do business with use it for sending me automated calls. If I didn't want blacklist to call any more I had to push a button and then put in my phone number and I would be taken off the list in 24 hours. So we will see what happens.

I think this may be a service businesses can use to contact people on their list (my chiropractor uses it to call his clients if he's going to be closed on a day he's normally open) if I answer the phone I get the "wrong number" message, if I ignore and let it go to voicemail I get his message... don't know if this is the same number or not as I've been called twice from the number now and no message.
