I've been receiving calls from 1-800-494-5705.  It's Creditwatch services.  They very rarely leave messages.  They claim I owe some company money and were set up to charge my credit card for the payments.  I called them and have recorded all of my phone calls to them (which they love to argue about, by the way.)  Travis tells me I don't have his permission to record and I tell him, "I'm not asking for your permission, Travis, I'm telling you this phone call is being recorded. (Don't forget to tell them you're recording calls, if you are.  You want them to hold up in court, if necessary)  I told them they did not have my permission to withdraw money from any account of mine, no matter what it is.  They told me which credit card they had info for.  I changed the number on the card.  Travis from their company called me a couple weeks later to ask why my credit card was declined when they tried charging it.  I told him he didn't have my permission to charge it anyway and it wasn't declined; the number was changed because I didn't trust their company.

I just noticed this same number called my boyfriend's cell, then 1 minute later it called my cell phone.  We don't have bills together or anything like that.  I find this rather spooky.  I don't have any credit cards other than my checking account debit card.  Maybe they are getting #s from voter registration.

Credit Watch Services. trying to collect on a bill owed by a company that had my number before me. Told them to stop calling. they said they would unless I provide proff off me buying this phone number. Part time low pay workers. Punk kids trying to be big shot bill collectors.

Just received a message on my answering service that there was an urgent message from the accounts payable manager about a commercial business matter.
And that a phone call to 800-494-5705 needs to be made immediately.  When I called the number I went through a several prompts before actually speaking to someone that asked my phone number.  I replied that you had my number when you called me so what do you want. The lady said thank you and hung up.  Didn't get anything when I googled the name but got this when I googled the number.  Thank you for posting this forum.  BE CAREFUL of these people!

I receive recorded messages from this number once every three or four months. They never say who they represent and the recorded message makes reference to a "business matter" which should be addressed by the "accounts payable department," which is comical because the last time I checked I don't have either a business or an accounts payable department.

I don't see the need to call these nimrods and tell them they're calling the wrong number. Why help them improve their crappy harassment service? They call my cell phone, so I just set up a "contacts" file called "Ignore," recorded the number and set the contact info to "no ring." Presto... all I have to do is delete their insipid recorded messages! Sometimes these little victories are the sweetest... LOL!

i get calls from this # regularly, about 2 times a week.  they leave messages about "accounts Payable" and dex media.  my credit score is over 800.  i don't know anyone any money .  it's hooey

Could someone just kill this company..  I use a pay as you go phone and they keep asking for an "A.... H..."  I am not this person.  My phone is an emergency phone and is costing me $1.00 each time they call.  Where are these people from, where are their offices.  Why can they steel my money.

Credit Watch Services calls 2-3 times weekly.  The call is for someone who had this phone number prior to me getting it over 2 years ago.  The message says "if this is not Ronald deCastro, just ignore this call.  If this is Ronald deCastro please call 800-757-2571 at the offices of CreditWatch".  I have ignored it for months but they keep calling, even on the weekend.  Today I sent them an email explaining my dilema and explained they can verify this is my number by checking with AT&T.  I explained that I do not know a Ronald deCastro.  I further explained I will file a formal complaint if this continues. Wish me luck!

based on what I read here, I said my telephone number was no longer that number that it used to be and I had no other information.

I am getting this same "scam".  They call and say that I owe them money for a dex account that I never authorized.  We own a small business and I take care of all the advertising.  That is an agreement my husband and I both have.  Last time they called they said that they didn't have any paper records, all on microfiche, so they can't give me an exact signature of who authorized it.  She told me it was my husband before I started working here (I've worked with my husband for 25 years).  Now, again today she called and when asked who authorized it, she said my husband, Jean.  Dumb!!!  I am Jean and I NEVER authorized this.  This is such a scam - almost scarey!!  The call shows that it is coming from Euless, TX - just don't answer those calls

The number 800-494-5705 may show up on your caller ID as 800-494-5201. It belongs to the same company (Credit Watch Services ). They're a bill collector representing utility companies such as GCEC in Texas.

I have report this company numberous times to the donotcall.gov site. they stopped calling for a while then started up again today. I wasn't sure who they were unitl I came across this site. I would like to thank all of you for your information regarding this number bc I had no idea who they were or what they wanted. I'm going to file another complaint with the other number all of you have listed. Hopefully they will stop calling me and all of you. And yes I have told them many times that I'm the person they are looking for they got ugly and hung up so i called them back repeatedly hunging up on them and sayed how does it feel to have someone call you all day long and being hung up on. They didn't like the idea of that toom much. Thank sooo much for all this information, I'm glad to know that I'm not alone in this scam phone calls

OMG! I love this!! I will use it if they get nasty with me.  I think I will combine ALL the things I have learned on this site to just be downright Naughty! LOL.

They are looking for the previous owner of our business and being jerks about it.

I've gotten a call from these guys every day this week, but no one was home to answer it.  Message is choppy, saying to call them back and be sure to have my company information handy.  Company information?  I've had this phone number for 3-4 years, have never owned a business nor has anyone who lives here. Guess I'll just block them.

I called this number back. Once I said no one by the name of the person they were asking for was here, the lady I spoke to said she would take our phone number off of the calling list. Let's hope it stops!

these people are crooks they are calling me about  a account that was paid off over a year ago talked to the co. that the debt was with they said it was there mistake and said they would fix the problem no calls for 2 months then they just called me this morning.

I received a call from this company on Fri. They said they were collecting from At & T yellow pages on a past due account from 2009. I told him I currently have AT & T yellow pages and I have never even paid it late much less have an outstanding bill from 2009. So the guy hung up. He just called back and I said isnt this the guy that hung up on me. He said No way he would never! He said MVP Plumbing owed AT & T money. I said we werent MVP plumbin. He said thats how I answered the phone. SO basically I figure they are just calling random numbers saying that you owe them money hoping that someone will just send them a check. THen my boss called the guy back and he says it must have been the person who had the phone number before us. We have had this number since 1970. I dont know who else to report this number too but I will and dont ever send them money!

they call me 5 times a day i called and the manager i spoke with said he will never stop calling me so i told him im changing my number he said hed just search my social and find my new number haha this number isnt even in my name I pay my family members to put me on their accounts my next one wont use my social either they can go [***] themselves ill never pay them a dime and my number will be changed today

I notice a lot of people are stating their comments on here But OBviously No one is doing anything to make these calls stop! I do feel the pain for they have called the last week EVERYDAY! I am trying to operate a business and these unmisfortune individuals are reluctedly calling a Company. You would think that the PHONE Comp. would turn off the number!
But my suggestion is don't Give ANY information to them over the phone!

I get these calls all the time. I am putting the number block on them. They say they have an important matter for................and then a robo voice says the name. They ask you to hold. I never do.
