They called me yesterday. Who are they?

They called me and supposedly they are a pribate attorney with scott co. brothers or something and when i called back to get information they told me they only handle 4-5 personal cases and they would not answer my questions they hung up on me..i think their phony and even scarier they have my credit report and my address. i looked up the company and they do not exist on yellowpages in Stanton, ca...i looked them up through a reference company for attorney and they dont exist and ART FROST does not exist under the list of people who passed the bar exams. i think he's a hustler...and HE's MEXICAN! damn gangsters.watch out everyone!

The woman left a name of Kathy. They called regarding my brother. He has a very very nasty ex-wife which is why I think I got the phone call. The number they called me on is extremely private and if my brother did not give it out it had to be her. I am very wary of calling back.

These people called me and started harassing me and when I would hang up on them they would call me back. They did not understand that this was my private cell phone and kept calling. They would not give me any information on their managers name, their company name or any info that I could use to call back their office to report this so called George. I called the number listed on my cell phone which was 1800-495-8682 and talked to their manager and reported his harassing behavior.

These [***] called looking for me and I told them she (I) had not ived there in years and that son of a [***] said well where is her mother and where is her father I simply said DO NOT LIVE HERE then he said where does she work I said I don't know her and If I did I would'nt tell you.... He said well thats why I keep calling. I told the [***] I was gonna report him then I hung up.

received a call from them. very rude when i called them back. they are not a law office. just a bunch of phone thugs trying to get paid for what ever collections they can.

Got two calls from this number and they left a message saying from the office of Scott Caruthers or whatever and that they were looking for someone I dont know. I called the number back and got a hold of some guy who I then told how I have gotten a couple calls for this person and that this wasnt their number and he asked me if I was friends with the person on facebook?! Uhm no! He said sorry and he would delete my number so hopefully he did. Even if they were trying to call someone you were friends with on facebook how can they just go around calling people asking for someone else and my lumber isnt even visable on my profile so now clue how they got it.

Keep on getting calls at work from this as---------.  Got so pissed and told him that he was harassing me at work and that it was punishable.  And if he doesn't know that,  he better read more on harassment laws.

Hoping this will stop the jerk.

There calling for "cash call loans" there a collection agency acting like office lawyers bunch of dirt bags

I received a two calls, at my place of employment, from someone who said he is with the Law Offices of Scott Caruthers.

This company had a rep with a very thick latin accent call and threaten and harass my 95 yr. old dad and my son.  The caller claimed that my father and son both needed to pay a debt that supposedly belonged to me. This company is doing business for CashCall who are currently being sued for their excessively high interest rates and are having to refund to millions of dollars to all those who were illegally charged high interest rates for quick cash. This company owes me hundreds as well.

I just received five calls in a row from 800-495-8682.  I was busy on another call so did not answer.  When I returned the call it was answered as "Law Office".  I asked for the person who had called me five times in a very short period of time as it must have been incredibly URGENT for them to call so quickly.  Needless to say these people are bottom feeders of the collection world.  Thy are calling for various debtors one of whom is CashCall.

I got mail last week. And I told these people this loan was paid off a long time ago!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I went to the SAN RAFAEL POLICE DEPARTMENT ABOUT THESE PEOPLE!!!! Really??? they want 3,000? screw them. i even hired a private investigator have fun  jerks!!!!

hours posted are bull  also i called from 5:30 - 5:53 and all i got was  general mail box  voice mail

I was out of town a family emergency and let them know when id be back and i had to get my pay check and deposit it.  Then i told them the next day i would be driving back and the next day  they call in am I was driving back straight from  NV to CA straight and to my job wasn't even going home. When I didn't answer   they called my job!! We have a Zero tolerance to personal calls and i got written up !!!! I didn't even give them my work number .
Their very rude  when i was saying im not in town wont and have not  gotten  my check is at my job and i dont even think i have  any in the bank  they kept pushing me to make a payment. Hello  FAMILY EMERGENCY!! then to not even give me a chance to call back and call my job. NOT ACCEPTABLE.....
Also two weeks prior i called them with my new debit card and they didnt save it and  they called me saying not only  is my card  no good that i owed a payment for the week before when i gave them the new card . After a bit they found the payment but the man who took the card number didnt save it. So I had to go back to the hospital room get the card and call  them back becasue they wanted it right now even though their was no money and  they acted like i was in the wrong when their employee  didnt save the number..  I even asked for paper work to be mailed to me and that never happened.  And The said part is   I notified them  and  told them and they still acted this way. When i called back they were closed becasue i work 1/10 my lunch is 530 and they were closed. I left a mad pissed off message and  told them to contact me only via email.. We know that wont happen. They call my job Ill file a harassment suite against them .

Asheila Davis called me at work said they were from attorney office had my address of work. They called all my family members. I CALL THE POLICE TOLD ME IT FRAUD. I GOOGLED THE NUMBER SURE ENOUGH IT WAS. II CALLED THE NUMBER TOLD THEM I reported them to the police they can meet me th the station.

rude as hell..they called and not introduce themselves then start yelling at you?? these m&@$% hate their jobs so much they want to take it out on us who have real jobs

I just got called and a vm was left by blah bla law offices of scott caruthers with a very threatening pissed off tone of voice 18004958682 ...  after doing some research on the number and bbb reviews and other forums and threads it seems to be a scam... I look at the date of these threads and it's been going on for so long... someone must've sold my number I guess, I've never even had a cash loan or a u.s. bank account, a scam is what it is...
