Got a voicemail on my office number that said "THIS IS A MESSAGE FOR" and then disconnected.

Those people called me saying that AT&T hire them to collect their money???!!!
I ask them what was all that about and they said we are a collection agency and you own AT&T some money, I said from where, they told me about an adress I had 4 yrs a go..I was unsure because I always pay my bills on time, then they said you better pay now before we send you to collect..?? I said collect??!!.. so what are you then. They respond we are a pre collect office, so if you pay now you wont be sent to the collect office where you will have a bad credit righ away.
I was like ok I will pay now, since I did not wanted to hsve a bad credit, so they took my information, like House adress, credit card inf and my phone..
They wanted me to pay with Visa or Master card since American Express do not work that well with them, I said I got no other card, so they said they will charge my card for 90.00 dollars not 80.00 as they said in the beguining since they had to charge paper work fees and they where based in Georgia..
Today I decided to google their # and a big bunch of reports come out..so I guess they are only triying to steal money from every body, Because I called AT&T and they told me is all a lie, because my credit is in good standing with them and if they where to send a collect agency, they wont wait 4 yrs to do so.
The guy from the Thieves collecting agency that took all my information including my SS# was Justin Nolan.

Received call from this number.  listed as "unavailable".  went to voicemail. listened to voicemail and it was silence for about 10 seconds and then hung up.

been calling everyday since my last post.  got the "this is a call for" message and then it disconnected. been calling in the morning before 9:00 a.m.

Same as other comments: Received several calls from this number within these two weeks, got same "this is a call for" message, then it was silence for about 10 seconds and then hung up.

These are the same creeps who are always bothering you. They have "borrowed" the 800 number so theirs won't show up on caller ID. They  are so [***] up, and they are local, maybe the same creeps in the neighborhood who are always bothering you. They are so messed up, they have probably never even met you, but heard something true or false--the extent of their education--and won't let you go, primarily because this is the only power in their lives.

"This is a message for" - followed by silence, electronic tone, disconnect.
No money owed AT&T if that's the con line these people use.

Same bs got call return call didnot enter number given me for acct they (Paul) collector said I owed them 446.00 credit collection from AT&T from old number told them I am not sending any money to anybody without verifiable collection Acct and to AT&T don't send them a dime call the FCC fraud line I did! Be aware they are frauds no matter what they say. And donot do a bank wire transfers ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! E.R.C. Company Name at - 800-496-8916 file with the FCC I did............

I get calls from this number regularly. I do not answer these types of calls since I have no idea who is on the other end. There is no message ever left, just a hangup. My wife and I are debt free so I don't know why we get calls from this number, which according to the posts on this web site seem to be about collecting a debt.

I've been getting calls for over a year and half from various collection agencies, including this one, leaving messages for a "Nathan Land"... to call them or go to their website.  This one gives their 800 number (800-496-8916) to return the phone call, and says to refer to file #55989270.  
     We are NOT 'Nathan Land' and have never heard of this individual.  We are so tired of hearing the phone ring "every day" of the week, from their 'toll-free' number, and having to erase their messages from the answering machine.  Some days it's 3 or 4 times.  We've had 'our' phone number for over a year and half (since April 16, 2010), and the calls began the first day our service went into operation.  Apparently this 'Nathan Land' had 'our' number prior to us.  Over this period of time, I have answered the phone calls 2 or 3 times, and have informed the caller that this Nathan Land does not belong to our phone number, and they say they will make note of that, but yet they continue the calls daily anyway.  I have only one option it seems, and that would be to have our telephone number changed with AT&T.  That is not a viable option since notifying everyone we know who has our number would be a daunting task, and I don't feel we should have to go through that routine because of this issue, which does not concern us.  A month of this would have been far too long, but to have it continue for over a year and half is beyond the pale.  TOTAL TRUTH!!!

Well... consider yourself lucky if you only rec'd one call!!!  We've had our phone number for over a year and half, and have rec'd calls from them daily for that period of time, from day 1.  It's a pain in the neck.  The calls are for a "Nathan Land"... who we do not know.  You would think they would stop calling after awhile, when that person can't be reached!  But they continue.  Makes me furious!

THIS CALL HAS TO BE A SCAM! I received a call from this number. Allegedly stating that I owe them $286 for an old AT&T bill. I may have believed them if my current phone wasn't through AT&T.  They said they would take me to court for it and started laughing.  I said go right ahead, my attorney was in the room with me and they were on speaker phone. At that point they disconnected the phone call.

Also they called once before and left a message with a number, a website and a reference number. When I type the website into my address bar on my browser it comes up with a site that says "This .com domain name is for sale"

Who are these people? They call my house almost everyday.

We get calls on our office number 409 840 4858 for a Randy Dejene or Dejeune. There is no person at our office or at that number. Please stop calling it. Also they gave 45455801 for ID code.

we have the same message leaving a a code of 45229615 can't find the web site KERC.  called several time and our number still comes up.  thanks Bob with ERC for waking me up.

These people have called me several times too.  They leave a reference number.  After visiting this site, I am not returning their call.

I keep getting calls from this number too. The www.kerc.com website does not exist - when you call the 800 496 8916 they answer ERC. I was told I owe $80 to AT&T from 7-8 years ago.but I have never received a bill nor does it show up on my credit report as an account referred to collections. This is a sham. They are just trying to get you to pay them for something you do not owe. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY.

Have received calls for over 3 years for Marcel Longmire who I never met or heard of.....when try to contact them about this erroneous information, they do not respond.  I have an ear load of remarks for this outfit, whomever they are....don't give them a cent because they are unscrupulous and fraudulent!!
