I received a call from this number during 2 weeks between March 1 and March 15, the Caller ID didn't show the last digit (5) so I couldn't trace this number until I got the whole message.

I called there and let them know this is another person's number since 2 years ago (Are they still looking for the other guy?) and do not call me again.

It is still CMC.

Please stop calling me!

I got a call from this number, and it said to call Lynn, regarding an urgent personal matter. Then told me to call 1-800-423-5973.

I dunno what it was all about.

this number keeps calling me and wasting my minutes and i just got my phone like 2 weeks ago so i don't know how it got my number but its called like 5 times in the past 3 days

Same deal as Pam. Only I've gotten calls from a couple numbers with the same message to call "Ms. Lynn". I'm even on the DNC list and they are still getting me.

Been getting calls from these folks all month.  I have no idea who they're calling for.

They call my son's cell phone everyday for the past two months. Who is Miss Lynn? Its really starting to bother me.

This number has called me three times since mid-August.  The first time they said to call "Ms. Lynn" who doesn't even exist.  It's a collection agency. They will keep calling you even when you tell them what their looking for isn't at your number.  Very annoying.

Didnt leave a message. I have had this number for a long time and dont know why a credit agency would be calling me bc I am up to date on all my bills

I'm kind of young so this might have helped but the person I talked to was really nice and said that they were looking for someone named timothy. I told them I wasn't him and they said they appreciated me telling them that he wasn't there and apologized. Kind of weird. Well, at least they stopped calling me.

This is a Credit Collection Agency and unless you have unpaid T Mobile bill or returned Checks from walgreens then they just have a wrong number for the person they are looking for all you have to do is pick and follow the direction to speak with a live person and let them know that the person they are trying to reach is not at your number and they will take that number off of the person they are looking for file. It does not matter if you are on a DNC list. It is debt collection and that does not apply to them. If you are the person you are looking for and you want to calls to stop they do not have to stop calling if you tell them verbally you must submitt that request in writting that is the LAW. All you have to do is search for Credit Management Control in the yellow pages for Green Bay, WI. So stop whinning!!!!

YES!!Mrs. Marsh is CORRECT!! Submit in writing they are NOT to contact you at this number.  Make sure to date the letter and by law they have to abide by the written request to stop calling your number.

Automated call from a Collection agency - calling my new number for someone else who must have had this number and still owes somebody some money.  No option to tell them to never call again.  They just hang up.  Pure annoyance.

Stop calling me as of right now or I will report you

I recieved a call from this number today and when I answered the call no on said anything. So I called the number back and was told to call 8005011025. I did and the person who answered was beyond rude and unprofessional. I asked him who he is and what is the nature of the call. I also told him that this is a business and attempted to ask him to remove  our number from the calling log. He demanded to speak with someone who he insisted worked here. I told him that if that person worked here or not, I could not disclose it him but, he probally should try to contact that person on their personal phone number. He insisted on speaking with the person he was trying to locate. I simply hung up.  And whenever that number show up on the caller id. i just will not answer.

If this is a call from a collection agency ask yourself if you have any outstanding debts. If you do not you may want to check your credit report and see if anything is out there that you need to dispute. Who knows half the time something is on there you may have not been contacted.

If both things are clean then send this company a cease and desist letter. Keep a copy on file and move on. If it persists you can take further action.

Note that if something is on your credit report it will not be removed just because you make a deal with a creditor. It acts as a history. The negative mark will be there regardless. You can negotiate a pay for delete but you should make them sign something first. Google it :)

message says to call. no real message. just says its important. I don't acknowledge unknown calls.
