Got a computerized call from this number claiming it was a collection agency. Said I should call a number to avoid further action.  I don't have any debts that I am aware of.

I got a call from this number today.  Didn't answer.  Wouldn't be surprised if it's a collection agency.  Although we have no overdue debt, We have gotten a ton of collection agency calls about the debts of a relative who has never lived here but who used our phone number years ago. You tell one company not to call and I think they just transfer it to another number.  I have read that this is a practice to try to get the innocent party to pay to stop the harassing calls.  Caller ID helps.

The caller ID only had this number in it. The beginning of the message was cut off probably because the computer on their side started before he outgoing message had completed. They called me claiming they were trying to collect a debt for Comcast.  Do not believe them, I called comcast and they had no record of the account number the so called debt collector gave me and said that I dont owe them anything.

I called the number back and they had an option to press one to remove your number, guess I'll see if it works, I think I've gotten two calls from them over the past week or so.

Got a call from them today.  They didn't much of a message except to say to call them back to "address this business matter".

a collection company for comcast tv - comcast has sent its services out to others and will collect on $ 5.00 or more!  dont get any product from comcast - we found they are rated the worst in sustomer service and if  you cant settle with them they collect..  We took them to court and won but we still have been getting calls.

The Company with this Phone number is ERC. (Not sure who they are) If you call to have your number removed , They send you right to a collection person. You can't just removed your name from there list.
I have never had Comcast service. I have no outstanding bills at this time. Not sure if this is some kind of a scam?

Recording says call 800-501-7539    Option 4 and case number 40658262.  Did not make the call.  YP.com could not find the company with the 800 number.
