Which is usually a tell tale sign that it's a collection agency.

Agents calling online representing themselves as UCLA - Billing department employee asking to pay $658/- for the billing issues ? Thats a big question because I gave all the information as asked by the agent and later I found that this number belongs to some online XYZ collection agency who is not even representing themselves correctly with the correct contact information to settle issues, I mean no websites no other contact number and only one anonymous number which remain busy.

Collection Agency that is calling my family members!!! WTF?! They are not professional!  They also need to verify if the debt is valid or not.  This debt is covered by my Medical and they should not even be contacting me! F*ck them!  If I ever owe anything, you best believe I will never pay "them"!!!!

the person that called me from this # was trying to talk me into registering for an educational program. Said they got my number off beyond.com, an employment search engine.  I've never been to that site.  I've blocked number.

Got this call, saying debt collection agency from hospital, asking birth date , address...never got a bill from Hospital and already on Collection. My Insurance covered ??? Who they really are ????

When I answered I could barely hear her opening line then asked for me to confirm my birth date. I Refused to confirm any of my info and she would not tell me what kind of collection this is regarding so I figured it was a scam to obtain your personal information.
