- AlishaI have Chase Auto Loan for my car. I received a disaster extension because I was affected by Gustav so my September and October payments were postponed to the end of my loan. They are now calling me saying my September payment is past due. This stupid number calls every two hours at least 6 times a day even on Saturday and Sunday of all days. I got a call Sunday morning like around 8 in the morning. This is rediculous. I can't wait until I pay off my car. Get a life Chase.
- 1-800-510-8106| 1 replyI was only 10 days late on my auto loan with 5 months to go on payments and this number started calling me 5-10 times a day. I'm not even reported to credit bureau til I'm 30 days late. What's the purpose of wasting payroll on having people call as soon as you are 10 days late on your car payment???? Payroll could be spent in so many better ways during these times of endless jobloss and homelessness. What would they do with a 2003 chevy cavalier anyway??? Sell it???? Yeah right! Give people a break and save yourselves some wasted payroll and perhaps Chase wouldn't be in such a troubling time themselves.

- MEHKWe call them Crook and Chase. Both of our cars are financed with those crook's. We have been a view times late because of unemployment and the economy. They have threatend us, told us that this is a scam, because I dealt with them and not my husband, wanted to know our mortgage payment and so on. I agree with all the other comments. Get a life, and treat other people with respect. They are not interestested in other peoples circumstanmces. They do forget that we as taxpayers bailed out those banks and thanks to us they still have a job and getting paid with our money. We even got calls if we are interested in a credit card. I told them that we would never get an account with them. The are one of the rudes people to deal with.

- CindyI really regret financing my car through chase. They call when my payment is 1 day late. Give me a break!!! I will not deal with them again!!!!! I would discourage others not to do business with them.
- BritneyI agree, if my payment is not there on the exact day it is due they are calling me 6 times a day everyday. We have both our car loans thru them and one month I sent in the payment for one car and they applied the payment to the wrong car loan and then they sent me a threatening letter and so I called them and the guy I spoke to was really rude, I told him I sent in the payment and he was argueing with me asking why it was late and saying that we promised to pay for this loan and we are not keeping our promise and was being really nasty and he thought I was lieing, then he found that they payment was put on the wrong car and didn't even apologize for being that way. Just said we will try to get it fixed otherwise you will have to go right down today and moneyorder another payment, what jerks!! p.s. they did get it fixed.

- Chase Unsatisfied Customer| 1 replyChase Auto Finance should be in the Auto Loan Shark Business not the Loan Business...They make threats just like a gangster. They had the nerve to try and pull this scam on me...mind you I was ony 15 days late and I only have 10 payments to go...The man on the phone said, "Were is the car now Maam...and I said with me at work, He asked for the address and I refused, "I work Temp Jobs so I not always at the same place, He said, "You got a fix on her, ok good, (he pretended he was saying this to someone who supposedly was tracking me through my cell phone). so then he said, "Good we'll be seeing you soon, we're coming to get the car..". I tried to reason with him and he continued to say I'd be visited soon unless I could give him a Credit Card number or Bank Account information so he could schedule a payment. 15 days late, after 5 years of making payments on time. I think I was late twice the whole 5 years. This company should not be able to threaten people like this.
- Turn the Tables on Chase AutoI made a payment with a direct withdrawl from my checking account on a Friday. The payment was three days late at that point and the calls had already begun. They continued through that Saturday and finally Sunday I answered one and told the woman on the phone that the payment had in fact been made and that the loan was current. She said that she could not verify this and that I needed to make a payment right then and there. So I said I don't think so and hung up. About an hour later, another call and this time I decided to turn the tables on them. When the caller informed me that "this call is being recorded for quality assurance", I returned the favor by telling her that I was also recording the call as well to protect my rights as a consumer. She said that I cannot do that and told me to stop the recording. I told her that I would stop if she would and that oh yes, I CAN indeed record any conversation on my own phone as long as I notify the caller. I then proceeded to talk over her and state the date and amount of the payment that had been made along with the confirmation number of the payment. SHE hung up on me but I never received another phone call.
Bottom line is that you CAN record any conversation on your own phone as long as you notify the caller you are doing so and Chase does not want to risk getting caught breaking the collection laws that protect consumers so they will not talk to you any further. You may get another call from another rep, but just say the same thing.- Caller: Chase Auto Finance
- All Chase wants is their money| 1 replyI also get about 6 maybe more phone calls a day. I gave them my cell # because I don't want them to call the house. My husband is home and is partially blind and on a fixed income. I paid $490 for 2 months being late and because of that I am behind on Aug. payment. I got laid off in July and rent is due next week. They call yelling a me wanting their money. If I don't have then they threaten to take my car and say I can't afford it. I'm trying to get a loan to pay them off. I'm so tired of Chase trying to TELL ME what to do. They do not have good customer service. I worked in customer service and was not allowed to yell at a customer. I would've gotten FIRED. Chase get better customer service. Stop yelling at your customers and listen to them.

- I dont answer their chase calls anymore replies to 1-800-510-8106OMG....i am in the same boat...i am only 2 days late and just 5 months away from paying off my car loan and now i've got this number 800-510-8106 calling just about every single hour...i've gotten to the point where i just ignore their calls...the first time i answered a call from this number i told them that i would be going in to the local branch to my payment within the next couple of days, and the b***h tells me that i needed to go in asap because my vehicle was in jeopardy of being repo'd, i said to her that i couldnt do it until the weekend because of my work schedule and she stated that i needed to find a way to get to the bank and pay asap or she will put in a order to repo my car...i said listen b***h, my payment is not even 5 days late, you dont even report until im 30 days late, and my job is more important than your f***** car payment, if i lose my job, how the hell am i suppose to pay on the damn car, so get a f*** real job and call me when im 30 days late...hung up and they called right back but i didnt answer....where the hell do these people get off on threatening their customers.....for all i know, they can kiss my a**...NEVER again will i have anything to do with chase..all their collection agents are a bunch of crack heads that chase hire for cheap labor so the higher ranking officers can pocket the rest of our hard earned money that we have to pay taxes on to bail their crooked [***] out....damn jerks
- JRI will NEVER EVER deal with Chase again. I concur. These people are I-N-S-A-N-E! They call many times a day. They use different numbers to try and throw you off, but it's all still CHASE.
Generally, your car payment has a 10-day grace period built in. These idiots start calling way before 10 days is up.
Next time I buy a car, if they say they will finance through Chase, I'll walk out of the dealership! NEVER again.- Caller: Chase Finance

- Ballou| 4 repliesIt's a pretty simple equation - YOU took the loan from Chase, YOU'RE late making your payment (just like I was when I got the calls) and it's YOUR responsibility to pay them. Regardless of how many payments you have left, how much your car is worth or what Chase could sell your car for. Why take it out on the people just doing THEIR job??

- True replies to BallouYou are right about people being late, but you are allowed a certain number of days depending on where you live that are grace period days which chase should know that. Technically they only can talk to you once about your payment arrangement and at that point can no longer contact you over the same matter. Once they can issue a late payment (which would be AFTER the grace period) they should start calling you at that point, NOT before. Technically they are braking Federal Collect Laws by harassing the customers. They will call my phone the day before or the day of my payment being do and I am NEVER late on my payment. Honestly they are the WORST company I have ever had a loan with and I will NEVER have one with this company again!
- Ari replies to BallouFunny Chase overcharged my credit account $300. Yeah I called them. Was sent through hoops. Took about 10 days to clear up and about 20 phone calls. I just think it's funny that when they owe you money they DON'T want to pay it, but if your 1 day late they will threaten you with a repo and to ruin your credit score. Big banks are horrible! Don't deal with them. Oh and check out that mandatory arbitration agreement you signed that was earmarked on the contract in fine print at the bottom in really light ink.
- shaneWho is calling from this number?
- akkHello. I've never used Chase, but I got many phone calls from this number and they leave many voice messages every time. It's [***] annoying. How can I block all voice mails from them?

- tomYes they call every few hours after 1 day late. It said we had a 10 day grace period so we send it within that time. We went and got a lawyer to stop it. (He is a friend of ours) After sending a letter that said they would stop, they dont. It never phased them. I will never get a loan through them again!! I hope nobody else does either!!!
