Got a call today from this number. I did not answer, and they left no message. A quick Google search seems to point to a cell phone in India. There were no postings about this number on this site to date.

I believe it is related to a call I received yesterday from 408-459-2892 which I stupidly answered. See postings for 408-459-2892 for details. I have to believe the two calls are related.

I got one from the same number today. I answered and the call was disconnected within a few seconds. Have you had any luck or have there been any adverse effects of your answering the call?

The caller never leaves a message, The caller hangs up immediately upon a voice response.

same thing happening here. have been getting weird calls from this number. didn't answer. it shows i have a message and when listened to it, no messages. it's really annoying. i think i stupidly entered my real phone number when i ordered something online and i think that's how they got my number. have been getting calls from telemarketers even at 8 pm! this must be stop.

I have been getting calls for days from  800-524-8526, multiple calls a day. They never leave a voicemail.

I have received calls from 800-524-8526, the first time on Sept. 19th 2012. I did not answer and they did not leave a message, but they continue to call about every other day. I have heard of other people getting and answering this call only to have the caller hang up. It makes me suspicious that they are able to get some kind of information from the phone in the few seconds that they are connected. Is that possible? Obviously I will continue to disregard these calls
