Same as both responses above-checking acct of an elderly dementia lady being charged $19.90 monthly-lady does not use the computer at all!

this is a fraud. i call them and they tell me i signed up for itd. i did not sign for anything 800-533-5964

Customer has same experience of comments above. Account must be closed as they are debiting directly from account, not on debit card.

My mother has never called this number, or has even heard of it, but she's getting $19.90 deducted each month from her checking account.  I wish I knew personally who these piles of feces are.  I wouldn't kill them, I'd just make them wish they were dead.

This company, sigonfile itd, same phone number above, has pulled money ($19.90) from my mothers account also.  FRAUD.

Now taking care of my uncle and having same problem.  He can't recall approval; moving to close the account quickly.  Beware - They prey on the elderly....

Yes, I was checking my mother's account and asked her who the company was and she said she didn't know...they withdrew the 19.90 as well.  I will be calling the federal trade commission on Monday to file a complaint against them and I will also be calling them to let them know.  I will try to get back on and post an update on any instruction or direction from the FTC and how to go forward.

The customer service representative I reached when I called this number to stop the recurring withdrawals from my mother's checking account was surprisingly courteous and even indicated that the most recent withdrawal would be refunded. While it remains to be seen whether they will follow up on their promise remains to be seen but approaching with a non-confrontational attitude seems to make things go smoothly.

I have the same issue, my mom's account is being debited $19.90  every month.  I called the number and got International Travel Discount.  I asked them to cancel my mom's account and they said they would- we'll see next month.

I did not receive a call from ITD, but my mother-in-law did.  She signed up for the $19.90 a month 'deal'....what a scam!  I discovered this when going over her checking account statements.  the charge was actually coming out twice a month!  I have called and supposedly cancelled this, but we'll see what happens (today is July 25, 2013), I'll have to monitor this checking account.  There are actually two numbers associated with "ITD" - 800-533-5964 and 866-236-3714

There is an amount on my statement of $19.90 per month with this phone number attached (Itd 800-533-5964 Sigonfile).  What is this?

When I called about the $19.90 charge, the customer service rep stated that it was for a "sweepstakes notification service".  When I challenged them they stated that they would refund the current month's charge but none of the other.  I stated that I would notify the credit card company that all the charges were fraudulent and let them deal with it.  Now it's time to call the bank and see what they will do about it.  

Just got a look at my parents account and they are taking $19.90 out every month. She has no idea who they are. These people are something else. $19.90 for nothing.

They have been withdrawing 32.75 a month out of my account. I thought it had something to do with my health insurance the way it was wrote on my statements. Come to find out it was a scam not sure how much of it I will get back been going on for about 2 years now😒

These calls are from a company called International Travel Discounts (ITD) located at 14 Vanderventer Avenue Suite 140 Port Washington NY 11050.  ITD basically preys on elderly people by signing them up for a crappy travel discount service that auto bills them $20 every month until cancellation.  My mom was being billed $20/ month for almost 4 years until we realized what was happening and cancelled the account.  There's no website and ITD makes it intentionally hard to find any information on the company.

If you do get scammed and want your money back, don't waste time trying to call the 800 number back and track down the company.  You'll end up talking to a lady named Arlene Rodgers who will cancel the account, but won't refund any money.  You can try calling them directly (Angela Hunter - 631-336-2166) but the quickest, most effective way to get your money back is to lodge a complaint online with the New York State Division of Consumer Protection (https://www.dos.ny.gov/consumerprotection/form/complaintform.asp).  Once I put in a complaint online with NYDCP, I received a call from directly from Angela Hunter at ITD within about 2 weeks looking to refund my mom's money and settle the dispute - I was able to get my Mom's entire billing refunded - ITD sent her a check for almost $1100.
