I also got a call from someone claiming to be FNB Omaha, at 800-537-3302.   The only problem is, this number does not show up on the credit card website, or on the back of my card.   I do have an account with a bank that merged with them, so it was probably legit, BUT I did not call that number; instead I called the one on the back of my credit card.

I recommend calling back the number you know, not the one they give.

Got several calls from 1(800) 537-3302. Never called them back because the voice mail messages are ridiculous. "I am calling a rapper" began one of them. Really?

It's most likely a scam. Avoid it.

I recvd several calls from this number the last several days. They left a couple messages saying as others stated that they were with the First National Bank of Omaha. I read through some comments on other sites saying this is a good number and did some checking. This number is good as it applies to me. My First Bank American Express Card is managed through the First National Bank of Omaha. I made a payment over the weekend on-line that apparently did not go through and my account is showing up as past due! My card was recently transferred from FIA through some totally different bank so this FB of Omaha did not ring any bells with me and of course I too thought it was a scam. I have left a message at the number that of course nobody answered and have been waiting hours for a call back. Not a scam, but this story may not end well either!

Called First National Bank of Omaha, at the number on the back of the credit card -- they explained this was their debt collection department. (... and I actually forgot to make my payment on time ...)

Which means this is a legit number, a legit company -- if you don't believe they have any business calling you, that's a different issue, that's between you and them, but this is not a scam.

I too thought this was a scam after receiving several "unknown" calls the past few days, but it definitely is legitimate.  Many thanks to "plum" above for allaying my fears.  The information she/he gives is correct.

After checking my account online, I could see the mistake for myself and I finally called the number above. Without identifying herself or the bank, I was asked for my account number, name, and to verify my address.

It is First National Bank and I too made a mistake in my payment on my credit card bill this month.  I absentmindedly paid $100 less than my payment through my checking account and did not realize it until now. I did politely suggest they actually leave a message or have caller ID identify the bank, so that those of us who don't pick up strange, unidentified, and unsolicited calls, will know it is not some scam.

They keep calling no matter how many times I tell them I don't have an account with them. I tell them to take me off their call list and they continue to call. I want to sue.

I get a lot of calls at random hours of the day almost daily from this number.  They never leave a message and I am tired of be bothered early in the morning and late in the evening.  I would like this number to no longer call my home and any other number that this number may be connected with.

Brittany from 1st Bank Card re: our personal bank.  She left a message that she wanted to speak with my husband about our bank card.  This is the card we have in association with our personal bank.  We had just paid this card off, so we were wondering why on earth dear Brittany would calling...

We contacted our personal bank and they have no record of this phone number for 1st Bank Card, nor of any reason why anyone from there would have called us.  Our bank is investigating Brittany.  I have a feeling this is yet another attempt to find out our personal information.

It is always important to call one's bank when a call like this comes in.  SHAME ON YOU, BRITTANY!

Received a call from this number - used your site, and realized I did have an account with Bank of Omaha - when I checked my account status, I had somehow forgotten to pay them - made my payment.

I then called the number that I know - and they couldn't have been nicer - even waved my late fee.

They called all day while I was at work and then left a message at night for me (by first and last name) to call Susan.  I never call until I check these things out and it seems to be a scam.  Not calling "Susan" back.

I've gotten several calls from this number. They leave a voice message claiming to be from Sears and that I need to call them back at this number.
I don't shop at Sears and I have no business with Sears, so unless it's a telemarketing call, Sears has no reason to be calling me.
