I spoke with Sean on the phone who said he was calling from Microsoft and needed to discuss how to delete a virus that effected my computer.  I asked for a call back number and address so I could verify his information.  He could not give it to me, so I asked for a supervisor.  I then spoke to a Janice who said the phone number and address where confidential and I needed to "TRUST" her.  I told her my information was confidential too and she hung up.

I don't answer calls like this but decided to on Fri, 10/28/16. Man w/east Indian accent said he was calling from Microsoft about my Windows computer that had a virus. I said, "I know this call is a scam. Have a good day" and hung up. I have received these calls on my cell phone numerous times previously.

Caller from India, impersonating as calling from Microsoft. Want to steal your personal info from your machine. Big ID theft ring was busted in India and US who victimized people for years. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. Never answer or call back.

I never answer unknown callers.  But like a dummy, I answered this morning.  Guy with Indian accent calls me by my name, knows I own a Dell computer and says he works with Microsoft.  I knew it was some sort of scam when I asked for his call back number and couldn't provide it to me.  Told him to call me later in the day to see if they would even try.  Just got 7 calls from the same number, no messages, no nothing. Hangs up after 2-3 rings each time.  Time to block unwanted callers. Beware of these companies cause they are trying to scam you for your info.

Rec'd 2 calls in 1 day from this #. I often receive a call from them every couple of mths. So I decided that bc they want to call that I will play their game. Letting them think my computer is going crazy at everything they tell me, then my screen go black, all the while they're trying to figure out problem, then I say "something is on my screen, it says eat [***] & if u call me again I'm calling the FBI"! They automatically hang up on me.

Once I hear the accent and that I may have a virus... I hold them on the phone tell them that I am wondering if  they can hold on, I mute them for two minutes... Then I come back on the phone ask them please to hold on I am very interested, Just getting my charge card... mute the phone again.... then never come back on the line... after a couple of times of that the calls stopped.

This happens all the time.This time I played along,but every minute or so I would scream "KARATE". This carried on for 10 or so minutes until I drive him crazy

'Got the same call yesterday, but, the guy (with a heavy Indian accent) said he's calling from HP (not from Microsoft), and that my HP laptop has a virus and is thus unable to download updates, etc. I said, "hey, hat's excellent, I love viruses," and then hung up on him.

For three days now I have been getting calls from this number, at least twice a day sometimes three times a day. I just let the answering machine get it, the first call you could hear allot of sounds in the background, after that they leave it on just long enough that I have a blank message.

OMG!! I just had that guy call me twice yesterday! Once at work and then again when I was on my way home! Today he called when I was shopping and I went off on him in the middle of Walmart telling him I had no HP products and to quit calling me!! I have now blocked this number but they will probably just call from another one!
