I get a call from these folks about 2 times a week, looking for someone who used to have my number. They just dont get it.

Funny thing is i got to work today and i have a call from these [***] someone named Shawn in claims. The number they have is not a working number for who they are looking for it goes str8 to my vm. I am the director of investigations at a major credit collection company. I wish i owed someone money so this weak stick would call me. He is softer that puppy piss if you owe them money just tell them "NO" i bet they would tear up..haha

I get a call from these people everyday on my job, sick of them. When I ask for proof, they say it is too late I have 24hrs or they will garnish wages, job says  it cannot be done. Help

Holy Sh*t. I get several calls a day from this "company" and they refuse to disclose all details I request. Nothing they say to me adds up! I requested an e-mail from them about a supposed account they are collecting on, and they send me someone else's account info!?!?! Smh....

bunch of loosers..  Mike Stevens claims to be a supervisor, he won't even stay on the line to
hear that he is calling for a dead neighbor.  Actually hung up on me several times. & even claimed
to call the police about me harrassing by calling back after being hung up on when trying to file
a complaint with the supervisor for his employee violating FDCPA regulations by stating my neighbors
claim # on MY recorder.. What a shady scam company,  I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office.. I suggest you do the same

i got a call from a man named tony johnson and says hes collecting a debt from a pdl from a loan i took out in january.Never took a loan out in jan.He says it for 750.oo and how was i going to pay this.I told him i didnt owe anyone and had payed my loan off and he says well thats not what i showing here.I asked him to give me proof of this in writing that shows who the original loan was from and what the original ammount was and he could not tell me any of this.He says they have taken over on some of the loans.He then says he will send me a email.I gave him my email and didnt recieve nothing.He calls back about a hr later and leaves me a vm and asks if i recieved it.Didnt answer and he is still calling leaving vms.Who are these people.Are they legit or not.They sound fishy.

Thanks for all the info. I was getting a little upset when I first heard the message now I know they are scammers because far as I know I don't owe anyone. If they are legit they should send written correspondence then I may respond but I will not respond to voicemails. Show me in writing! I think they must go through phone books and find people to target. And the caller Renita Murphy couldn't pronounce my name.

Same person keeps calling me, but he sent me an email but its not a normal email just a letter with an attachment. i dont know what to do, i spoke to my own lawyer he said he thinks its a scam also, but mr.stevens says if i dont pay than they will be an warrant out for my arrest and i would than have to pay all the companies back, their lawyer fees, court fees and filing fees. i dont know what to do. Are they are real company. The number 1-800-557-4099. the number is 1 number off from the number they have called everyone else from.. any suggestions... they say the loan goes back to 11/14/08, 3 years ago. i dont remeber taking out a loan.. HELP PLEASE!!

Renita Murphy called me again yesterday and "wished me luck." She said that I was blatantly ignoring her calls, which is far from the truth. I have been busy and have not been able to return calls, so I called this morning and when transferring me to a "live" agent, the phone hung up! Something is not right! The number that shows on the caller ID is a number from Lilburn, GA, not the same number left on the voicemail. And to top it off, they are not supposed to disclose Ref# on emails. My voicemail does not have my name mentioned and therefore they could have been leaving personal information to anyone.

I also spoke to a renita murphy and transfered me to a mr. stevens who said i had till today to pay or a warrant will sent to me. I asked if they had a judgement against me and he said no. in the email it had my ss # but the last 4 numbers was xxxx, and it was stating i owe money to a Bahamas Marketing Group, dont remebr ever taking out a loan from that company.. My lawyer told me to tell them to send me the orginal documents from the loan company and all the documents that they have on  me. Not sure where they got my current address from, but part of me doesnt think its a scam cause they knew way to muchhh information on me. I dont know what to do, my lawyer also said if they keep calling tell them you are going to contact your local police dept and let them handle it. But what can the police in NY DO WHEN THESE PEOPLE ARE CALLING FROM ATLANTA, GA AND THEIR MAIN NUMBER-678-701-5523 AND THEY ALSO CALL FROM 1-800-557-4099.. SO I STILL DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD JUST KEEP PAYING THEM THEY ALREADY GOT ME FOR $50.00 WHICH ISNT BAD, BUT THEY SAY I OWE 725 AND THEY GAVE ME A SETTLEMENT FOR $510.00.. ANY SUGESSTIONS??? THANK YOU

Not sure if they are a scam, but what did everyone else do? Did anyone else take out any kind of payday loans? I've spoken to a Mr. Stevens, Mr. Derrick Robinson and Renita Murphy. They told me that they work for lawyers and I can not speak to the lawyers because they charge between 3 and 400 a hour. And I have to deal with these people..

If they are a real company wouldn't we be able to Google the company's name and find them?? Well I've tried and all I find is this website.. It does sound fishy after Googling and not finding anything...
In their email it states, "This matter is currently under attorney review. In an effort to liquidate the balance of the above referenced account we have been authorized to offer you a settlement. We will extend a final opportunity for you to settle this voluntarily." Help help

These people called me at work about payday loan..didn't have a clue and said must be a mistake or a scam.. they had all my info.bank name email home address. I called bank and found I did get a loan.. also found out my wife did it 2 years ago!! I was pissed but went on and paid it and got a paid letter sent to me!!

I got a call from this company to and they say I owe a pld but I don't remember getting a lone I ask them can they send me some info on this and he said no but I need to pay what I owe I told him I won't pay nothing until you send me something on this account he hung up on me.
