didn't answer it. just looked up the number here on the internet...Glad I didn't answer it. I am tired with people calling exspecially when my number is UNLISTED! siiigh.

For days I didn't answer b/c is said "unknown caller", but after 2 back to back calls last evening, I finally did answer...they put a virus on your computer if you log click on google or internet explorer, they take over your computer and proceed to show you what all is wrong w/ it and tell u that a very bad person has captured you IP address & is or will be using it for illegal activities! For only $149, he will fix the problem, give you the best antivirus protection and bank protection anyone can offer
we didn't pay "Mike Simpson" a dime, but I do believe we have a virus on our computer now!
He gave me a call back number w/ I told him I'd have to talk to my husband. It was 800-560-5895 ext.125

Received a call from this number on my cell.  Upon answering there was no response. I suppose it is inevitable:  There are motherless eggheads making mistaken calls… I just happen to have been on the receiving end of one of them.

There was a "caller unknown" call that I answered. A man said there was a serious problem with my computer, that my system was compromised. I said I'd call msn about it when I got home. He said it's not msn, it's about my operating system. He said "you have Windows on your computer? Windows 7, Windows 8?" so I thought if this were a legitimate call, he would know which version of Windows I had. I told him to give me the number and I would call back. I see that others have had the same type of problem with calls from this number.
I want to say how much I appreciate the fact that there are places where people can look these phone numbers up to see what others have found out. It helps.

This number has been calling my number and I blocked it and don't answer it.  Don't need problems from this bogus caller.

I received a call from this number today.  I picked up the phone because I thought it was someone calling me from another company I have done business with.  When I answered the call, the person on the other end had a heavy accent, most likely of Indian decent.  He proceeded to tell me that there was a problem with my IP address on my computer.  I asked him how he knew I even had a computer, and if I did, how did he know the number of computers I have in my home.  I have received similar calls in the past, and they usually say that they are calling from Microsoft.  I told this man that I have reported him.

I work for a law enforcement agency in Texas and just received a call from a reporting person about this number. She said that she received a call from this number and the lady (also with a very heavy accent she thought was from India) said she needed to turn on her computer because it had a virus. She said that she kept asking the lady who she worked for but could not understand what she was saying. Fortunately she knew this to be a scam and reported it. She did not give a second thought and hung up on the lady. A few weeks ago I had a similar report from an elderly woman who unfortunatley was not aware of the scam and gave the person her bank card number and was charged $149. After speaking with her daughter shortly after she was made aware that it is a scam so she called her bank and had her card canceled just in case they attempted to add more charges to it. Be AWARE people. There are so many scams out there....never give your personal or bank information over the phone to a person you do not know. Banks and government agencies DO NOT call you asking for any of that information.

This company claims to have received an error message from my computer and they are trying to help me. I looked them up online and they scam people. They try and infect your computer with a virus and then sell you the anti-virus to help you "eliminate" the problem. All while they get COMPLETE access to ever single important document on your computer. BEWARE!!!

Just got off the phone with these people... My husband THOUGHT he downloaded AVG software, but it was from some company call bullsystems, then he was prompted to call the 800 number and this guy claimed to be with Safeway Technologies I think... not sure... anyway... we were told that his computer got infected with the zeus virus... I think they put it on there... just didn't feel right... SO... DON'T buy Reg Pro Cleaner from bullsoftwares.com

I believe my computer got hacked by these people!!! And put a virus on my phone, now they are calling me and harassing me nonstop!

Like others a virus showed up on my computer after clicking on explorer.  Tons of wild pop ups - that are difficult to get past - all indicating that I should call someone from Microsoft to get help.  It was all to weird so I didn't call the number instead found a safe place and had my computer cleaned and the virus removed.  I thought all was done - when tonight I received a phone call from the number above - heavy accent - offering me help to remove the virus!  I too appreciate a place where you can report this type of thing .  This is a SCAM and so are the heavy accented jerks that are calling saying they represent the IRS and because of a filing error you now owe back taxes!!!!

Hard to understand, Heavy Indian ascent, selling software /fix your computer, that you need according to them,,,ID master 247.  

This from a company in India that wants to sell Spam/Virus software. They plant code on your computer if you log into the Web address they give you and scam you into buying their software. I have repeatedly told them to stop calling me but they will not stop. Don't do business with them if you know what's good for you and your wallet and computer. Once they are in you can never get rid of them.

Their line usually is, "there is a serious problem with your computer". They imply that they are from Microsoft but they are not. They scam people for $149 for free MS programs. They also put code on your computer that you can't get rid of. Don't believe anyone calling you like that.

If anyone paid to any company so please call to your bank and asked for chargeback amount..

Scammers! I cursed them out so badly... and he hung up. I told him I'm going to report him.. He doesn't even know my name ...He asked me what's my name he said "you forget your name" I said "yes" why do they think I'm stupid

TOTAL SCAMMERS!!!!!! Thank you all for reporting!!!!! I got my number on my computer with a HUGE warning sign saying I had a virus and needed to call this # so they could detect the issue.

As all the above, I received a virus warning on my computer. I called the number....no answer. They called twice. First time I didn't answer. 2nd call was after I read this. I did not give them a chance to speak. I just said I had already reported the number to the FBI. If they call again, Comcast allows me to block up to 25 numbers. This will be one of them.
