Thank god! I think they went out of business! What a bunch of crock! How can the owners of this company sleep at night, knowing what they are doing? Top knotch scam artists. I hope the owner gets involved in a scam and looses all his money he took from people. This company should have been shut down years ago, in fact what even possesed them to open a company like this? Sick [***]!

***ATTENTION ALL FINANCIAL ADVISORS AND INSURANCE AGENTS***

Do not buy any leads from this company. I used to subscribe to their service and it is the worst scam of all. They in fact have ceased operation, but if you go to their website they have a so called "liquidation" company selling their unused leads. DO NOT BUY THEM. They are selling the same exact leads to every person in that area that buys them. So not only are you calling these prospects, so are like 50 other brokers! Dont waste your time or money on them. By the way, the company that is now selling these leads, is the SAME company, just under a different name! How low can you go? I repeat DO NOT BUY OR EVEN MAKE ANY CONTACT WITH THIS COMPANY. If you want leads, you might as well just start calling the phone book, because that would be better than calling these!

Do not use this service. This is the type of company that will change names and locations when things go wrong. Cold Solutions has closed down, but beware. If you are interested in a lead generation company, check the BBB. If the company is owed by either a Peter Bonell and/or Linda Bakalis, DO NOT use that company....those are the same owners as Cold Solutions. Just a word of advice....

Here's an update: These folks are now operating as Annuity & Retirement Services LLC, out of Rockville MD.  The card I managed to get from the woman (Linda Schurr) shows the office # is 866-763-2971.

It is definitely the same woman - Linda Bakalis Schurr (Bonnell may no longer be her husband), age 48 - and same MO - "calling about your husband's annuity which is now due" when the husband has just turned 65.  When they come to the house they try to sell you a contract.

You can never behead this snake - it just grows a new head.

PS on above comment: the email on the card is listed as lschurr@investorsunioninc.com.  this proves it's the same person. You'd think she'd at least change the email domain to hide her association with this so-called company, against which 7 (!) states have taken actions since 2005.

    All,

You are all right. The card is totally misleading. Sometimes, however, if you are honest you can turn a negative into a positive and help people. I have one customer however who is in their 80's who I met through the Annuity Service Center who ended up having  $500,000 worth of Prudential stock that I sold 2 years ago and placed into a fixed annuity that they will ultimately pass on their beneficiaries. Had I not sold that stock for them it would be worth one fifth of what it is now and their beneficiaries would ultimately have been receiving much less. Your right though, the card is totally misleading and I won't use their service anymore as an insurance agent/advisor because it was very uncomfortable for me obtaining clients like this.

Me again, this is just a hunch: I used the 4102020051 number as a possible bank of numbers like "-0051 " thru "-0060 ".  Companies will take segments of telephone numbers to make their lives a little easier. When 4102020054 is tried a complaint comes up of a " Hollander Law Firm " keeps calling... .
Now when you google the Law Firm one site called Yahoo answers has this guy called evilroy48 who claims this:
" I get calls from Hollander Law Offices re: a debt that I owe. But I don't have any outstanding bills?
These calls from Hollander Law Offices do not address me by name, do not indicate what I owe or for whom I owe this money only that I call them. A DETIALED CREDIT REPORT, [my emph.], I recently received did not indicate any outstanding bills and that I have not had any late payments. Under what obligation am I under and what response should I give?
1 year ago.  Another person called smedrik wisely replies : "You can request they send you a letter outlining the statement, the claimant as well as the nature and date of the debt incurred."
So what are the chances that a phone number so closely related to this 4102020051 has someone having received a CREDIT REPORT JUST RECENTLY? Fishy yes. I would like to talk to evilroy48 to find out which Credit Agency completed his report.

what this company has done is weighed both ways . i had people with whom i spoke with that had been decieved by there personal agents and were happy to be able to have some one else help them . actually there were quite a few of these situations . its easy to judge , there was never any person made to see an agent . they had the right to refuse , and could even call and cancle or even have family members or any one present , at the time of the appt.

Cold Solutions is back up and running yet again, this time under the name of UFS Marketing or Unlimited Fulfillment Solutions. They do the exact same thing only rather then taking any legal responsibility whatsoever they put everything on the agent instead. Amazing how many times they can do this.

I actually purchased a program from UFS and they worked out really well, I jsut renewed for another 4000 postcards. I am working with the owner of the company and his name is Matt.  As far as I know, Cold Solutions was owned by those 2 crooks Peter and Linda Bonnell.  I think its just a coincidence both companies are in Ohio.  The best part about UFS is they record and let you listen to all of your appointments.  How can it be a ripoff if they let you listen to your appointments being scheduled?

    Matt,

The way I understand the posts is that UFS is at the same address as Cold Solutions. Are you saying the Bonelli's are not part of the company? What has been your experience with the appointments?

    tennisguy,

I was logging into my UFS account and saw your thread.  I'm not sure about the address because I never used Cold Solutions.  I'm almost done with my latest mailing and I popped 2 decent cases.  I've used a few other lead sources and this is the only I found where I can listen to my appointments.  I still get the usual no shows and cancellations but their customer service has been great. Hope this helps.

Update, Both Linda Bakalis Schurr and Peter Bonnell, both principals in the old Cold Solutions, were fined $35,000. and suspended two years by FINRA for how they conducted business.  To be fair, I have used the old Cold Solutions back in the mid 2000's and was able to help quite a few people.  I chose not to continue to use them because they were not, as I later found out, compliant with the then new SB620 which had been put into law at the time.

Mellisa Snyder you are just upset you were fired for being a drug addict. Get over it already! And don't tell lies about the company that treated you so well for so long especially when they shouldn't have!

UFS is not Cold Solutions. Never has been never will be. People call the president of the company, talk to him, find out about the company for yourself! Most of you won't because you would rather act like teenaged girls and just gossip online hidden behind your computer!
