FIA Card Services is a Toronto, Canada based collection operation. Looks to me they buy stale accounts for pennys on the dollar from BofA. Somehow they got my cell phone number and call at all hours of the day trying to collect an account that was probated 10 years ago. I informed this Bozo today, call again, I will call the FBI.

I had attempted to transfer my balance from BOA to another credit card. Unfortunately the bank I wrote the check from did not honor the transfer check. I have been called repeatedly from 800-562-6420 and other numbers that are supposedly BOA. They do not identify themselves as BOA but as FIA Services. They want me to give them my bank info over the phone for a payment. Even though I told them that I was investigating what had happened they continued to call several times a day. When I said that the calls were not "courtesy" but harrassment calls they stopped for a week or so. They are rude and do not care what you have to say. I got a call yesterday and the woman told me that I had a payment coming up and she was just calling as a "courtesy" so that I didn't incurr a late fee. Like they care! Isn't that how they make money? At any rate I paid my monthly payment yesterday through the automated phone service with BOA. I got a call today and was told the same thing again. I told the "gentleman" that I had made the payment. He didn't know anything about it. I asked him if he worked for BOA. He said that he did not. He works for FIA Services that collects balances. I gave him the confirmation number that I recieved yesterday and he said that the information about my payment would not post for several days. I told him that the payment had already been deducted from my checking account. He didn't seem to care about that either. I have had several problems with BOA and FIA Services. I have written a letter to the Comptroller of the Currency and several other organizations that look at banks and their practices. I have a number of a woman at the BOA Delaware HQ. I am going to call her and complain again. BOA also told me once that people are not supposed to carry a balance every month; that a credit card is a short term loan and that we should all pay it off every month. I hope she told the rest of the United States!

They are a collections department for bank of america...they took funds out of my account without authorization

I keep getting calls from this phone number on my cell phone. They keep asking for some guy named Valentine. I inform them this is a new cell phone and they should not call this number again. They refuse to identify what company they are with and want me to fax them so they will stop calling me. What a pain in the ass.

This number keeps calling me and will not identify the business that it belongs to, while asking me for personal information.

Seems dodgey to me.

Who are these people...Do they call you on Sunday too?

This quality company called me with a representative that had very poor English, so poor that the voicemail message was entirely unintelligible.  A call on *Sunday* actually was an autodialier.  The claim was made that this was legal.

The whole manner in which this operation was conducted was entirely unprofessional.  From a cold call, they were expecting me to provide all of my personal information -- date of birth, last four of the SSN, account information, etc. -- which I was unwilling to provide *and* provide this information before informing me of the nature of their call.  In conversation, I asked several times for them to send a physical letter to provide me some increased confidence of who they were and what their business with me was.  The call ended with an agreement to do this.

Because of the sketchiness of the calls from 8005626420, I called the bank who issued the card (the phone number on the back of my cards and my statements) to verify these claims and that they had called me.  My bank indicated that they had not called me, and that phone number was disconnected for the bank (I can still call that number and it is active.)  8005626420 is a phishing scam and I am going to file a report with law enforcement as such.

Follow these steps:
1st: After you hang-up with these ***holes, dial *57. It keeps a log of their calls for your phone company.
2nd: After 5 calls, go down to the police dept. and file a report of harrassment. Give them the name of your phone company.
3rd: Call your phone company (Comcast - 800-871-6298) and give them the case number.
Your phone company will fax the log sheet to the Police Dept. and the police will send the report to the states attorney office for investigation for charges to be filed...

In my personal case the caller is FIA Card Services for GMAC Mortgage Credit Card. The website that I access my acount from is www.ibsnetaccess.com which is a FIA Card Service website. So if you have a GMAC Mortgage Credit Card that may be what FIA Card Services is calling in reference to. :)

I think this is a giant scam.  I got a call from this number, with a message to call 800-678-3046, which has already been identified by others as a scam.  I called the 800-562-6420 number and was asked for DOB for identification before they would tell me the nature of the call.  They gave me the last 4 digits of my debit account!  I cancelled the card.

I have been receiving calls non stop from this number. even on sundays, there is no reason I should be receiving calls from bank of america

I don't know who this is, I didn't answer it. Probably B/A... I've got accts due but none delinquent... Ugh, scammers.

My fiance received a phone call today on his cell phone and the lady gave him all information, and I don't nor have I ever had a BOA card.  When I called back to go off, the dumb lady wouldnt help me and ended up getting her company sued.  I am in the collections business and I know what is legal and what is not, and this is not.  I suggest you all contact your attorneys as well.

This number is Collectcorp and is calling my place of employment daily and will not stop at one or two phone calls, but will continue to call and hang up and call back sometimes for 15 minutes or more. I've already called and lodged complaints against giving out my personal inforamtion to co-workers who have no right to my private affairs. I talked with a supervisor named Robert Donnally 800-562-6420 ext 7504 and was told I wouldn't be receiving any other calls and would only be contacted by mail.  We'll see if that really happens.  When they call the number appears as private or unknown sometimes, I also got a call from the same guy when I refused to speak to him at my work from a cell phone provider 980-233-6196.  I'm not sure if this is a company provided phone or if he was calling from his personal cell phone to harass me more.

Mr. Cutzullis is rude and nasty and calls constantly for an employee that has asked NOT to be contacted at work.

this is a  pre legal  dept for boa i got sued for non payment of debt there serious. i let this go thinking it was nothing dont do the same

That is Bank of america's pre-litigation department. i found them really helpful. BOA was to put a lean on my property. but this young lady named dusita really helped me. she wrote off more than 60% of my total debt. much lesser than freedom financial (debt settlement company) was willing to sttle it for.
