These people keep calling and do not list proper identification. They use an autodialer which always makes me think they are not legitimate.

I want to no longer receive calls from them.

I get messages stating "my name is Richard Walls and I need to speak with you as soon as possible. this is not a sales call. my number is: 1800-566-6128."
My number is on the DNC list, and I am thinking someone is breaking the DNC rules of the FCC.

Caller IDs himself on message as "Chris Stone" concerning an important personal matter. It is a collection agency trying to find someone who has never lived here, at least as long as we have which is almost 30 years.

If you call back, that person is never there. The operators refuse to give the company name or physical address. Eventually, an operator named "Chelsie" gave me a fax number, 972-661-2487, but said it was in Maryland. It is, in fact, a Texas number linked to COMPANY OF AMERICA COLLECTION, 4099 Mcewen Rd, Farmers Branch, TX 75244.

The helpful Chelsie also refused to give me the names of anyone to whom I could address a letter or fax except PAM JORDAN, title: Collections Manager. I have asked to be removed from their list several times.

I recieved a phone message asking for a lisa roberts. they left a phone #, so I called them back, not sure who the company was because the woman was yelling.  I said that there is no person here by that name, I am not sure how that person got my phone # and to take my phone# off the list asap and do not bother me anymore.

Told me it was CCA Collectoion agency for AT&T for a bill from 2007.  We never got a bill or statement from AT&T for a supposed $69.  Strange that it took 2 years to hear about this from a collection agency but not a word from AT&T!

total scam! they HARASS me daily about a "bill" from verizon. i contacted verizon and they deny having ever contacted CCA— or what ever that crap "agency" is... collection company of america...bull! i even got a letter from these fools, and i google mapped their address (700 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061) and guess what. there was nothing other than a field. these people suck and we have to do something about them. i've already contacted a lawyer.

They keep calling every day now for about 2 weeks, calling couple times a day and i never answer it and it did leave a message once it was a machine but i did not listen to the recording because i dont care what they have to say. I am in no debt i dont owe anyone anything so i dont know why they are calling.

I called this number 800-566-6128 and they asked for my name, ciy and state. I provided my name, but then I realized maybe this is a scam because in the background I could hear people screaming. Then I asked her what the company does. She said it would be illegal if she gave me that informtion because she was not sure if this was the person she was looking for. So I refused to give her any further information because she could not even tell me what ESCCA stands for??!!!

I agree this is a total scam, she didn't even do a proper business/professional greeting upon answering the phone!

THIS COMPANY LOL CONTACTED ME LAST WEEK TO COLLECT A DEBT THAT WAS IN KENTUCKY I HAVE NEVER LIVED IN KENTUCKY EVER. THEY ALMOST GOT THE JOB DONE BY RIPPING ME OFF IF NOT FOR MY SWIFTED ACTIONS.THE ARE A FRAUD COMPANY TELL ALL YOUR FREINDS. THEY WILL EXTORT YOU

Caller ID says not provided. Been harassed by swarm of bill collectors lately. These bills are all older than 4 years and are swapped between collectors for pennies on the dollar. It will never end but I wish they would at least write before calling every damn day. No message left on answering machine.

I have two calls from ESCCA but not to me!! To old friends I haven't seen in 15 years!!  And one of them is my husbands first wife!!  And she is remarried and does not even still have the same last name!
I have no outstanding debt, so I knew something is not right!! Plus I'm listed and not hard to find!!  One was a machine talking type message, the other one a woman.  She used the same last name both times but changed her first name.  One was Kerry Smith, the other one is Karen Smith. Same return number listed. Did not say what company she was calling from or why she was calling. She also didnt ask to speak to the person's whose phone number she was calling. Just a message asking them to call her back if they knew where I was. Ugh!!!!!!

I receive the same "Chris Stone" messages and he claims to have attorneys come to my house and serve me with papers. He also has called my sister-n-law in New Jersey who called me frantically saying he left her a message telling her they were going to serve me legal documents. Then he states he will place a hold on my account and someone 18 or over has to be at my home in the next 72 hours or the authorities will be contacted. What a crock of crap! I am tired of this harassment. You're not the only one, trust me.

These folks sent me a letter several months ago about some insanely large amount due to AT&T. I contacted AT&T and they had no idea what it was all about.  Then today I received a call from an 800 number and it is the same people.  I assume this is a SCAM. Don't pay them a dime!

Receiving calls...called them and ask to have the number removed...will see what happens...

Got a call from these people today.  It was an autodialer that said "Hello, please hold while we connect you to a representative.  It is important that we speak with you." so I hung up.  Any company that does not readily identify itself straight off the bat is obviously not a legitimate business and must be a scam.  These people are now on my blocked number list.  Thanks for all the input.
