my son's phone got a call from that number as well, why would they call at pay by minute phone

Pacific Power will call whatever number they have in their records. This is their collections number.

Called my daughter's cell phone.  Must be trying to contact the previous owner of the number.

This is a scam. Google pacific power scam. I never gave pacific power my cell number so no it isn't them calling.

This is a scam. Their caller id shows up as the actual Pacific Power number but they leave 1-800-566-6414 as a call back number to have you call to "discuss an urgent matter with your account." I've talked to two different Pacific Power reps today using their actual number and there is nothing wrong with my account. The second rep told me to report it to the police, so be aware.

Received call stating I had to call 800-566-6414 regarding an urgent matter regarding my Pacific Power bill. Like an idiot called that # and they answered Pacific Power. Stated all was okay on the account. Then called # that showed on phone (caller ID 888-221-7070) and Pacific Power answered. Asked them about the 800 #. It is NOT Pacific Power's #. They are filing a report to catch this scammer!! Beware people!!! Call the correct Pacific Power # first before calling this #.
