They called numerous times. Every time they leave a message for someone not in our office.

It is also for acct. collections - My wife has a past due medical bill and they keep calling.

Both my mom 'n me are getting calls from this number. They leave no name, ask for no one. A mans voice just leaves a message with "resolution for you". Calls come between 7a - 8a, and between 6p - 8p. My mom and i don't live 2gether, so calls come om 2 diffent phones, one being my cell phone and both phones are  on Do  Not Call registery. With all scams out there, who wants 2 answer an unknown phone calls. Can't anything be done with these phone calls¡? When you do answ them, the people are so rude, none undestanding, especially if they are collectors. Mysterious if they are not

this number has been calling my phone numerous times a day for the last couple of months.  They do not leave a message and when I answer there is no one there. Is there any way to make them stop ringing my phone?

Keep getting called from this number.  Have called back multiple times and after trying to make them tell me why they are calling, either hang-up or put on endless hold (I've waited on hold for 45 minutes).  I have demanded they remove my number and I get basically no response (and still get called).

I have no accounts in default, so I am sure, because my number is new, they figure that because my name is common that I might be some how related to a person they are looking for.

I have filed a complaint with the FTC.  It appears this company was sued for this same type of action before in 2002 and settled in 2004.

this company calls my number several times every day.  When I pick up to say hello, there is always an immediate disconnect.

The calls are from a collection Agency.And if you take them to small clames and can prove they keep calling (you might need to get the phone co involved by tracking incoming calls) the Agency will have to pay you $2000. per violation!!!! Keep a journal and record all the calls. Just rember you will be limited to the amount you can collect in each small clames case. You file the case with your local court system not theirs.

I have been getting the same calls also. I read the post concerning the small claims.I called them back and told the person that answered that they had been
calling my number at least a hundred times in the last to months and if they didn't stop I would take them to small claims court.She said they would remove my number.I think it worked.Try that and maybe they will stop calling you.

They have called my phone numerous amounts of times, my father's phone and my mother's phone. Yet again they will hang up or when I try and call them back I get an answering machine. I don't think it is legal for them to be harrassing my family members like this, it has to stop.

They call me 10-15 times a day.Stop calling [***]!!!!!!!!!

It is Dell Financial Services

The company is United Recovery Systems, they are a collection service that many other financial units use.  I mailed them a request to cease the phone calls but they have not complied.  I have notified their representative now that I have done so and their response is that they did not receive the request.  They continue to call multiple times a day, so now I'm going to pull my phone records and file a report with the FTC, or possibly file a claim in court.

This company has repeatedly called my house and hung up when I answered. Early in the morning and late at nigh. When I answered and they finally said something they asked for me and then asked if I knew someone living in my neighborhood. When I told them I didn't know the person and not to call back the agent said they would not call back. About a week later my 9 year old son answered and asked him several questions about the person who lived in the neighborhood to the point that my 9 year old finally said, "I don't think I should be talking to you and am going to find my mom." they hung up. Then to make matters worse this afternoon they called and my 5 year old daughter answered. They asked her questions and she was only able to say, "My mother and grandmother are here. Do you want to talk to them?" When she brought me the phone they hung up. I am extremely concerned that it is the same person who assured me they would not call back and I am urgently concerned as to why he is talking to my children. I plan to get to the bottom of it.

These guys have 17 FEDERAL lawsuits filed against them, lets all join in, they keep calling me phone also, looking for someone else, if you are not that person and you tell them not to call they violate the FDCPA and can be sued for 1000.00 plus attorney and stress fees. If everyone sues them for this they will be out of business. 17 federal lawsuits in just 6 months, can you imagine if we all just took a few minutes and filled out and file lawsuits against them for these illegal actions. I am so sick of getting calls from them for someone else.

I just got a new cell # and all the above is true just call your cell co. to block that #. Sounds like the Lawyers are in on it.

Don't trust URS for anything. They are bottom feeders. They use abusive language and will harass you at every turn.

Since January of 2009 they have had 26 lawsuits filed against them. Since August 2008 that number jumps up to 38 lawsuits filed against them. Most of these lawsuits are for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Then in 2004 they were fined $240,000 for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This company breaks the law regardless of what happens, they don't care about our rights.

My advice send a Cease and Desist letter now. And when they violate that sue them. I think its up to $1000 you can get for each violation.
