- Jane| 2 repliesCalled twice in 20 minutes and left no message.
- Christina replies to JaneThis number called me twice in like 20 min too with no message
- AlThis number called me. Don't answer a number I don't know.
- TThey called twice in 20 minutes. I couldn't get to the phone before it went to voice mail. My wife's phone rang immediately after that. Her number is the same as mine except the last 2 numbers.
When I call back, I get a message that AT&T can look up similar numbers at no additional charge.- Caller: None
- Skip| 2 repliesThey called twice in two minutes (31 Oct 2013). No message. When I call back, I get a message from AT&T that the number is "not in service." But it offers to connect me to "similar businesses": Kern Federal Credit Union in Bakersfield, California, or Travis Credit Union (which is in Vacaville, California). So AT&T is suggesting that the calls are bank related?
- H| 7 repliesI got this call too, but I answered, and it said something about if I don't do something, then I will be charged $153. They said some website URL that I couldn't hear, and now I don't know what to do.
- DinaTwo calls on my cell phone with no message. I have this number registered on the do not call list and plan to report this.
- Danna replies to HI had two missed calls today from this number. When I tried to call the number back, it said the call couldn't be made from my service area. If it was a viable business for a real issue, a person would have answered and been able to give me information that I could know what definitely related to me. If you visit the website out of curiosity, thats ok. Don't provide any information (social security number, bank information, credit card information) to anyone unless you know you do business with them directly.
- T| 1 replyThey called me twice in exactly a 20 minutes span. I didn't answer either times.
Looking at all these comments makes me wonder why all these calls are happening today, 10/31/13. And why everyone is getting two calls within 20 minutes. - Kim| 1 replyI got two calls from this number myself....one at 11:31 the other at 11:51. Exactly 20 minutes apart. Strange.
- Eddie replies to TI didn't realize these were all dated for this morning. I, too, received two calls from this number not too long apart. Must be some promotional call for Halloween? I dont know, just my guess.
- Cloos669| 3 repliesIt called me 20 minutes apart, left a voicemail the second time saying something about my account and $153 at verizon we care about you. It was only like 6 seconds long and the first 2 seconds are dead air. The robot spoke so fast all I got was account $153 at verizon we care about you. I'm thinking total scam!
- May12Called me twice in an hour and hung up when answering. Very obnoxious.
- Caller: ?
- AlanJust called, left no message. I have Mr. Number, so this number will be blocked. I love that App!
- PJCalls came in exactly 20 minutes apart while I was at work. Glad to know I'm not the only one; I definitely will not be calling this number!
- GY| 5 repliesI got this call as well (twice at exactly 20 minutes apart as well) and the second one leaves a message which says it's from Verizon and that it wants me to go to www.vzw153.com to get $153 credit on my next statement. The thing is that this is my work related cell phone they have called which tipped me off right away that something doesn't seem right. I am not biting, however I couldn't find anything googling the phone number or the website (I did not go to the website). This sounds like an automated phone scam to get you to a site that either carries a virus or prompts you for personal information.

- jdh| 1 replyTwo calls from 800-600-1228. I didn't answer either call, unrecognized number. Caller did not leave a voicemail.
- Aimee| 1 replySame thing as everyone else. Two calls on my cell phone, 20 minutes apart; 9:25am, 9:45am on 10/31/13. No voicemail message left. When I called the number, I also got the recording (supposedly from AT&T, but who really knows) telling me that the number isn't active, but they can direct me to one of two different credit unions, both in Central California. I am sure this is a scam...
