800-605-5415 /// This number called my cell phone and left message to call them back concerning my BlockBuster acct., when I did, and entered my phone number in as per instructions, the number that they had just just, message came back as if it was a number not with them..... I called, BlockBuster, at 1-800-406-6843,,, (what a headache), and reported this, they seemed unaware...

As we all see here, looking at all of these complaints on this, socalled, or real or not BlockBuster number of, '800-605-5415', for BlockBuster to let this continue shows them to be, part of the problem, if not the full problem...

Get a clue, BlockBuster and do something about this!!!!!

Returning the video or making payment for ones you've decided t keep eliminates this hassle ...I'm just sayin

I've been getting their messages on my voice mail for around two months. They keep calling about 4 games that were taken out. The problem is that I don't have a Blockbuster account and I'm not the person that they mention in the recording. The first month they didn't include a name, so I wasn't sure what was going on. Was it the Blockbuster scammer or the real deal? After they began leaving a name I figured let the dummy get billed on his credit card - he's already given them a bad phone number. It's now weeks past the date that they said they were going to charge this guy. Now they're saying that he just needs to call this 800 number & use code #1100. I bet that credit card isn't any good anymore. I guess I'll have to call them and tell them the bad news that this deadbeat's money isn't going to be helping to save them from bankruptcy.

This number keeps calling my home for a person that does not live here. We worl 3rd shift and this is getting very annoying.

I got this same call from Blockbuster asking me to return the call. The automated message said I needed to pay $9.00 & and gave instructions to pay by credit card ect. As most of you know, there's quite a grace period w/ their due dates. This clearly screams SCAM!

This is a SCAM, do not pay over the phone even if you may have a late fee. Call your local blockbuster. I called from my home phone yesterday and got a computer saying it was blockbuster. Today I call from another phone and it is the "Rewards Hotline" with ads for other companies. SCAM!!!

I cannot even get through to it. Just got the message and cant get anyone on the phone about it. Just voicemails. The separate company that collects for Blockbuster has the phone #s. So it is not actually Blockbuster, it is the separate collection agency associated with them. Assclowns.

I keep getting calls from this number (Blockbuster) for the person who had this number previous to me--three years ago!   I can't get through to tell them to stop calling me!

Out of the blue I started getting calls from the number with an inaudible name that sounded nothing like mine.  When I called back the machine just wanted me to confirm I was that person. Unfortunate for them I am not that person.  It did not allow me to get to a person.  So I googled number and found the 1-800 number above.  A customer service agent was prompt and was able to assist me.  The automated system is horrible. Blockbuster needs an automated system that gets you to a person or better yet not have an automated system at all.

Ohhhh an internet keyboard tough person. Everyone, run for your lives!

I haven't rented a movie from blockbuster in over a year... i've just started getting messages - maybe it is a scam. Why would they wait so long if it was legitimate?

I made some negative remarks about the president, and almost immediately started getting calls from this number.  I also keep seeing dark cars pulling up to my house very late at night. I'm very scared, and wish I could take back what I said.

havent seen any dark cars in my driveway. and dont recall saying anything to awfully bad about the pres,. but this stupied recording dont give an option to tallk to a real person so i can tell them that i havent had an acount with B,B, for more than15years and i dont have a clue who this person is that thay keep calling me about

I don't have any blockbuster movies out.  I received this phone message that I should call this number back and now I won't.  Instead, I'll go into the blockbuster store and see what's up.  Thanks for the tips guys.

I received a call from this number.  They left a message saying they had important information for Cindy Something concerning a Blockbuster account.  The problem, of course, is that I have no clue who Cindy is.

I called back to tell them they had the wrong number.  They must be able to read incoming phone numbers, because the voice menu I got said, "If you are Cindy, please press 1."

AND THAT WAS THE ONLY OPTION!

I tried pressing 2, or 0, but the only valid choice was 1.  Must have been a real genius that designed that system.

I suspect I'll be hearing from them again.

Called my cell # at ten minutes past MIDGNIGHT...left no message...
